Hey there ladies! Great to have some new faces in the "mole patrol"!

Josijo I had anothe blood test yesterday and got mangled too - I even gave her my good vein in my preferred arm, despite her being completely rude. First of all for questioning the Dr for ordering weekly b-hCG on a rule 3 exemption, not my problem, and I'd put money on her not even knowing what a molar is, and then she was really rude to the two students she had with her, she treated them like they were really stupid.
Then she started to carry on about taking blood with a syringe rather than a vacutainer, and how it was so much gentler. And proceeded to collapse my vein. A bit giggleworthy.

Anyway, loooong story short, got the results back and it's ELEVEN! Not quite the single figures I was hoping for, but pretty good. I've decided that when I get my zero, I'm going to put all my numbers together on a lottery ticket!

petina I hope your levels start to go down soon. I am so so SO over weekly tests (this little thread makes it a bit more bearable) and I'm only up to week 4!

So, I had another test today, pushed back because of the public holiday. I'd been out at the races yesterday, so was worried that the vacutainer would pull out pure champagne!
But it didn't. I got a.... FOUR point NINE!

DH built a prediction model about my levels (it's what he does...) and it had said 5, so he is stoked that he got it right. I wonder what it will say for next week!

Great progess...but how do you pick 4.9 on a lottery ticket...is that a 5? you know our list - choc, soft cheese, wine...this morning I realized I can add back poached eggs - another yummy food you can eat at the moment

OMG - poached eggs! I'm actually vegan, so soft cheese isn't ont he list, but lately I've been thinking *just one poached egg* I think I'm gonna do it.

I was thinking, with lotto numbers, I will put them all together, like 811119271149, then pull out the numbers from there. But 11 appears twice! New lucky number... although did NOT win at the races on Wed! That said, yesterday I was walking home and found $20 on the footpath.

Might use it to take DH out for brekkie over the weekend and get my poached eggy!

    Tested today, got a 3.1
Doesn't fit the prediction model, was supposed to be 2! But whatever.

    Post hi ladies

So sorry to hear of your PMP ladies.
I also had a partial mole late May this year, and had a D&C June 6th.
Im from Victoria and im 22 yrs old. I have a 2 year old as well.
I was 12 weeks when I went for my 1st scan to only find out that my little angel had stopped growing at 9 weeks 6 days, with no heart beat. That was the worst feeling I have ever felt in my life, my heart sank to the floor, I felt so dead inside, I know a bit dramatic, but that?s what it felt like. After the D&C they sent the tissue away, they didn?t know I had a partial molar when they done the ultra sound.

I was registered to the royal women?s hospital & they took care of me, they said I had to do weekly 24hr urine specimens (4 of them), and then a blood test. It was negative, they said all I had to do was have a normal period and then I was ok to TTC, and because I already had 2 normal periods we started TTC.
2 months later and im pregnant.
im currently 5 weeks 6 days pregnant, (6 weeks tomorrow) going off my last missed period, which was on the 27th of august.

Im going for my 1st scan on the 19th of OCT, then have a follow up GP appointment on the 22nd of OCT, ill be 7 weeks and 4 days by then.
I will post how I go. I hope everyone is well with you all.
    Take care.

I did my first monthly test on Friday. In the afternoon at 4:30pm. STUPID thing to do, as I then had to wait until Monday for the result and spent the whole weekend convincing myself that something was wrong. Which it wasn't.
So, clinic nurse was really nice (I have returned my patient survey since last I spoke to her, don't know if that helps) and said that if we want to start TTC in Japan, then that would be OK, as long as I get two mroe zeroes before then. Two more tests! Yahoo!

    great news

    hey girls
snugglybean that's great news about zeroes and ttc soon. hope you have a fantastic time in Japan.

cj's mum - how did you go with your scans? all my bits crossed for the all clear for you.

i don't know about you guys but i just constantly feel so sad about the miscarriage, the pmp and the waiting. i'm 35 in february so my clock is ticking so loud i feel like every day that passes is tragically lost forever and bringing me that much closer to risks of complications. maybe i wouldn't mind if i was 25 or 30 and still had lots of safe years, but i was hoping to have the flexibility of even more kids after the next one if we wanted them. sadly my OB didn't seem to understand this at my last visit and basically told me to buck up and she had 4 miscarriages and now has 4 kids blah blah.

anyway sorry to have a whinge i just thought you girls would probably be the only ones who would understand. maybe i'm just premenstrual!

    have a great weekend all

So, I'm back on the TTC wagon! With where I'm at in my cycle, next [last] monthly test would be before anything would show up if I was pg, so we've decided sod it and let's go for it. I could have gone either way on it, but DH was really keen.
    How are you ladies going?
