After 9 months TTC i fell pregnant in December.. i m/c at 7 weeks in Jan. In Feb my partner took a job working away. Its not so bad as he only does 1 week on & 1 week off.
Long ago, before the pill, i was on 5 week cycles. The pill corrected this and it wasnt til after the miscarriage that my cycles have become 5 weeks again. this means that DP and i have one chance every 10 weeks of becoming pregnant. i realise this is better than no chance at all.. but i was wondering if there is anyone in a similiar situation?? Do you get frustrated and how are you coping? Or does anyone have success stories with a partner who works away?
Hi Kezzy. My DH is a pilot so his roster changed month to month. When we are TTC it gets very frustrating when is going to be a way at the right time. However a week is not that long and there is a chance if you O in the middle of that week that if you DTD when he goes and when get gets back that you will fall. I think it just means that you have more of a chance of a girl. We have 2 girls and 1 boy and the boy baby was the only time DH has been home at the right time. So yes there is a good chance that DH working away still means you will fall!
