If you don't mind me jumping in here and giving my "opinion" (for what it's worth!), I tend to agree with Dawnee. I had to make a similar travel-related decision myself earlier this year - and wasn't sure whether we should start TTC or not. If we hadn't, it would have meant an 8 mth wait.

It was hard, but I decided to throw caution to the wind and just see what happened. It felt like it was the right decision for me - not to mention I would have been extremely frustrated/upset with having to be delayed in the meantime! I guess what I'm trying to say is that a lot can happen over that stretch of time - it did for me, and we didn't even end up going on that particular trip, even though I was so sure beforehand that we would.
