I guess I can post in here too :) I am 8dpo today. I'm not very confident that we have fallen pregnant this month. I know that there are a lot of stories about people falling pregnant quickly after a loss (and a D&C), so I am hoping that I am one of those lucky ones.
I'm nervous about testing because I'm scared about the possibility of a false positive due to residual hcg from my angel's pregnancy. I have a post-op appointment with my ob on friday though, so maybe I'll see what he thinks.
I hope you are all coping ok. I actually prefer the tww than the first two weeks of a cycle. I think it's the underlying excitement that helps me through the tww. The first two weeks I feel like I can't even do anything productive.

OMG SaraJane! I must have added my temp as you posted! I start work at 7.45am and added this morning's temp as I was leaving the house at 7.43!! My chart is looking similar (not identical) to my pregnancy cycle... Why oh why am I letting myself get my hopes up so high when I'm sure the odds are against me? Oh well, I like the excitement factor that's involved ;)

good morning ladies, i'm joining you in the TWW (as opposed to just lurking and keeping my fingers crossed for you all)..officially i'm 2DPO but knowing my symptoms, it's probably more like 4-5 DPO.
AF is due on the 16th june. :crossfingers: she stays away!!!

Hope everyone is well... I tested this morning and got a BFN, but my temps are still up at 36.8, with no sign of AF so I am going to stay positive until she rears her ugly head. Is it possible to get a positive after 14 dpo I'm wondering?

Im about 11-12 dpo, AF is not due until Tuesday next week....such as long cycle! Im feeling pretty good, not getting my hopes up but not being too negative either. I hope there are lots of bfp's in here this month. Im :pray: hard for all of you!

Karan - I hope AF stays away for you too! I looked at your signature, and my mum had twins the same year that you did :) She had two boys though.
Hussibug - Sorry about your BFN, but I think you can still have a chance. If bubs implanted late and your only making hcg slowly, then you might still get a BFP :) It's great your temp is still up!
Issy - I'm doing the same as you, not getting my hopes up too much, but at the same time I feel a bit excited. I feel that if I'm negative and have the attitude that I'm not pregnant, then the baby might not stick. I want my baby to have all my love from the moment it may have been conceived :D
I hope you are all coping well, and that this tww brings lots and lots of BFP's!!!

bettyboop - I think I might test on friday morning before I go to my obs appointment. If it comes up negative I might still ask my ob if he would be able to see anything on an ultrasound if I am pregnant. Fingers crossed!

i guess i say this every time, but this one is definitely the most excrutiating of all the TWW's i've ever had!
will be busy over the next few days so hopefully time starts to speed up a bit, otherwise i think i will cave and test any moment now...

Hi there, I am new to this forum.
I am Rach, I am 24 and from the Lake District in the UK. I got married to my husband Paul is August last year and we came off the pill a month before the wedding in preparation for TTC. Luckily we conceived within the first month! We were due our honeymoon baby in May (last month). Sadly when we went for our first scan at 12 weeks we were told there was no heartbeat and that we had a missed miscarriage. We were both heartbroken and I was asked to have a d/c. A month later I was rushed to hospital with intense bleeding, it turned out I had remaining products.. so I had to have a second d/c in December, two days before christmas. It was heart wrenching .
Two months went by and we started TTC in Feb again, Aprils cycle we achieved a BFP! Only to start bleeding 3 days later and have a chemical pregnancy...
This month I am currently 9DPO according to FF yet only 4 DPO according to TCOYF software.. either way I am not sure what is going on. I decided to take a preggo test today stupidly and saw a faint line but I know not to get my hopes up as no doubt it means NOTHING again and Ill end up with my period. I am on day 28 of my cycle and although I am sure I ovulated on day 18/19 of my cycle.. the software is telling me lies lol
Usually I get my AF on day 29 of my cycle, so that would be tomorrow but I feel totally confused, moody, irratable and generally like things aren't quite going as they usually do.
I am getting really fed up as I so want a baby and this TWW is killing me as always.. I just so want a baby!
I cant upload my FF chart as I am a member who posted on their forum, stupidly I mentioned my own forum (which I wont mention here, its a UK one anyway so its ok). I didn't mean any harm but they banned me from sharing stuff or being on the community... I wrote and apologised but they were very rude to me and wouldnt allow me to ever have that capability again... I have written now probably about 10 times to them apologising and explaining that I didn't realise it wasn't on (which I didn't at the time as people were discussing baby forums!)...
Anyhow... I hope you dont mind me being on here having a 2WW with the rest of you..

Our reasons for being here are heartbreaking, but it has allowed us all to find each other and to help and encourage each other on our TTC journeys. Rachelswirl- big welcome and :hug: for you. i too had a missed m/c picked up at my 12 week scan and also had a chemical preg in april. i know it is hard after having a chemical preg to believe in those faint lines but try to stay positive and we will help you get through the next few days when hopefully that line will start getting darker! saying lots of :pray: for you hun, and here's another big :hug:

Hiya Everyone, I am finally biting the bullet and posting here instead of lurking with my heart in my mouth and my fingers crossed that one of you will get the big BFP. I am on day 4 DPO (I think) and CD 18. I haven't been temping or POS to see when I'm ovulating but my cycles are 28 days and I have Endo and can sort of feel when I ovulate. I had my Mirena IUD out 2 1/2 months ago and had two periods to clear out the hormones hopefully. The chances of me getting pregnant are probably very slim being that I am 36 and have endometriosis but that doesn't stop me going through h*ll during the TWW. When I think maybe it will happen I tell myself not think that way as I have had miscarriages in the past and I was 8 years younger then, like alot of you I go from being excited to anxious, hopeful to feeling silly about being hopeful. Oh I hope you guys get what I'm saying as it confuses me!. I have everything crossed for you guys, all the best Missy
i do not need to test woke up with tummy cramps , took temp big drop and now AF is here and i was only on day 21.

hello ladies in here! thought i'd pop in here for a hello! im on 2 dpo i think... have asked the ladies in the ttc thread to look at my chart to see whether i've o'd or not... but lets just say i did... so im joining this thread too seeing as im doing this tww thing too... hmm... its not very exciting... im having some cramps... i think it was like this last month & i ended up with af!!! oh no! im not feeling positive. does anyone know whether you get cramps straight away after o if you didnt conceive? it might mean that your uterus is contracting & preparing to shed??!! :(

Rach - I'm sorry to hear about your loss :( My DH and I have a similar story to you. I stopped taking the pill 2-3 months before our wedding in preparation for TTC. We actually got too excited and started trying straight away, but we ended up conceive a wedding night baby (I ovulated the morning after the wedding). We had our first scan at 8w1d and found out that our angel had passed away. We were absolutely devasted and I was quite a mess. I had a d&c two days later but I was lucky enough for the procedure to be very successful.
We were told to wait 2 cycles to try again, but once again we jumped the gun and didn't wait any cycles, oops. I'm now 11DPO and have a post-op apt with my ob tomorrow.
I tend to trust my knowledge of my body more than what FF tells me, so if you think you are 9DPO, then you probably are. The month I conceived FF was telling me I ovulated on the Tuesday, when I knew 100% that I had ovulated the Saturday before! Then about a week later FF moved my ovulation lines to what I knew, lol!
I hope your journey to get your beloved baby is not much longer :)
pbstar - OMG I bargained with myself too!! I told myself that if I didn't test this morning (which I didn't) then maybe I would let myself test tomorrow morning before I go to my ob apt... Seems silly to do it before I see him, but a deal is a deal yeah? Hehehe.
Missy - Congrats on biting the bullet and joining us here. Welcome to the TWW! I say screw the odds and bring on the BFP!! :D
Bettyboop - So sorry to hear that AF came. I hope that it's a nice big cleansing AF so that next cycle you will be all fresh and ready for a BFP!
Vanaithi - I had a peek at your chart and commenting in the TTC thread for you. I might not be much help though. I don't think you would get cramps due to an impending AF as early as 2dpo. A fertilised egg takes about 5 days to travel to the uterus, and then another 2-5 days to implant, so your body wouldn't even know yet if you had conceived or not yet. Take heart in that and try to stay positive sweetness. My fingers are crossed for you and you are in my thoughts.

Vanaithi - I have had cramps since O too. I think that your body doesn't know it has to shed until about 8 - 10 dpo, when progesterone drops if you haven't conceived. Could be a good sign, fingers crossed for ya!
Issy and pbstar - when are you planning to test? I always say 12dpo, but end up testing at 10 (insane).

Vanaithi - well I just looked up my past few cycles. I had strong cramps after O in December when I got a BFP (mc), then 2 months ago when I got a faint BFP which went away. Not the other cycles!?! So now I'm a little excited.
Got a question for everyone, have any of you had diarrhea in the 2WW? I dont feel sick or anything except for a slight headache, but today everything is going straight through me (sorry TMI). Wondering if its hormones, I really dont feel sick so it cant be a tummy bug?
jodsan - how did your bfp go away? i cant remember if i had any cramps when i was pg as it wasnt planned... but i did get symptoms like feeling light headed & dizzy during the 2nd part of the tww which is about the 3 or 4th wk... so i'll be looking out for that.. about diarrhea... yeah i have that, normally im constipated cos i dont drink enough water & have enough fibre... & now i drink like a 600ml bottle a day & then going to pee straight after... i think cos it's cold? & then im going to the loo doing #2 like every day which is not normal really.. talk about tmi! :lol: but lets not think on it too much cos there's always another reason! hey your cycle is just like mine! mine isnt showing up that ive o'd.. cos my temps have been the same since wednesday morning... 36.5. i am looking forward to going to sleep so then when i wake up i can see if my temps gone up like it should... well good luck to the both of us & hope it means we'll be heading for a BFP!!!
Hi girls,
Im back after a big week. I got a new job!!! So excited about that but freaking out about it too. I have about 4-5 days til i can test and the only thing im noticing is that i need to pee alot more than usual. But im not really going to look for symptoms so that i dont get disappointed if i get a BFN :)
On another note, this will be my last TWW for a while. OH and I have decided that we're going to stop trying for 6 months or so. So its back to the pill for me if i am not PG this month.
I :pray: to god that i am PG for obivous reasons but also i dont want to give up BB just yet.. So fingers crossed for me please LOL
Hope everyone is coping with the 2WW and that we get BFP this month :D
hey jodsan- welcome to the nightmare that is the TWW! i really don't know if or when i will test, am feeling quite convinced it will be BFN and don't think i'm up to seeing that single line. just having a negative day...re: your question about diarrhea, yes definitely have had ever since i o'ed. have also been quite gassy and bloated since o too. it is not really normal for me, usually it happens right before af shows up but have had for about a week and a half now.
anyway i am guessing that was way TMI....sorry :redface:
