I had my first loss very recently and it was a very early loss at 4.2 weeks. However I'd tested on a hunch at 8 dpo to get a bfp so I'd known I was pregnant for 7 days...only mentioning these time frames because I'm not sure if you're counting really early losses. Anyway we are already trying again as my bleeding stopped after seven days and I got a clear bfn, no cramps, so thought my body was ready. Also having been told that with a chemical or early loss you can try again pretty much straight way. I'd agree with Hotl that early vs later losses would prob impact feeling ready to try again. That said, I believe based on my own emotional responses that even an early loss can have huge impact on confidence and general emotional well being.

first one, devastated me mentally and emotionally, we were told we could TTc straight away but I just couldn't handle that so said 3-6 months...

this last one has been a bit the same, given the green light to TTC asap but just can;t get my head around it...

I was advised to wait until I'd had at least one cycle, so we tried again after a month.

I'm going to go to the other end of the spectrum and say it depends on how early it is. Physiologically speaking, a chemical pregnancy (prior to 6-7 weeks) is different to a loss at 10-12 weeks.

we had a 19 week loss with natural delivery (no D&C), first cycle following loss we tried but had an annovulatory cycle, fell pregnant on the very next cycle. So 6 weeks following loss, I was pregnant again.

6 months, but it was a molar pregnancy, so that was the minimum for us.

I waited until after the EDD of my 18w miscarriage. I couldn't emotionally do it before then.
