It's been about a month since my 2nd M/C, I havent had any signs of AF, and I didn't bleed for very long with the M/C.
Is it so wrong of me to want to fall pregnant now? I know I can't replace the babies that i've lost, but I have this really bad feeling it will happen again. It's really hard because I have a 2yr old daughter, and even though I am so thankfull that I have her, I want 5 or 6 more. But how many losses will I have to have before I have my family???
Is it so bad of me to want to fall pregnant again when I know that there is a very high chance of this happening again? How can I just turn off all of these feelings of guilt? I feel that if I fall pregnant again and I lose, then it's my fault for killing my baby because I fell pregnant so soon without bettering my health!
I'm sorry this doesnt really make sense, i'm having a hard time getting my feelings out in words lately.
Oh hun, like Skybie said, if youre ready then go for it. I am so sorry that you have had to endure such an awful time of it, it really isnt fair. Know that it is ok to grieve for your Angel and if you are ready now then follow what your heart tells you to do. You cant turn off the feelings of guilt but sweetheart you are not causing this and none of it is your fault please dont ever think that it is. . I hope your forever baby isnt too far away xxx
Heya sweets, no its not wrong, if you feel you are ready to ttc again then go for it. we didn't even wait a cycle after our second mc and fell in with DD so if you are ready then go for it
There is no right or wrong timeline for grief. If you feel ready, then go for it. A miscarriage is 99% of the time no fault of the mother. There's nothing you can do to prevent another loss, and the only thing you do have control over is how hard you're willing to fight to have the family you want. I know it's not easy, fearing another loss....... but it's something we just don't have any control of. Unless a doctor has told you to wait a certain period of time, then keep fighting!!
You can do it. Your daughter is living proof that you CAN have a healthy baby. Best of luck to you, hun. And I'm so sorry for your losses.
it sounds like you're ready to try again, so if that's what you want to do, I say go for it.... I would probably be the same as you! Go easy on yourself hun.
I also had a miscarriage. It was one of the hardest, loneliest things I have experienced. I waited 3 month's after the DnC and tried again. Thankfully, she's very healthy and is now 8 moth's old.
If you think you're ready, by all means give it a try. But if there some things that are bothering you, then I suggest give it a few more months. Waiting can also be a good thing. Take care of your body and make it stronger. Do some yoga if you can to relax and have some peace of mind. A strong faith and lots of prayers sure helps.
feelings m emotion will always be there- they are only temporal
i had a M/C in early June. And though I am trying to stay positive emotionally, i found that the negative emotions sneaks in like a snake- esp at night or when I am idle. Knowing that I am also prone to anxiety, I kept myself "busy" with little things to keep my mind positive! Can't really conceive under "stress" right? I like doing craft - esp beading, so, I string a bead or two, or do some sketches whenever I am upset. Also, I try to reward myself by not being hash to myself. The day when I have no "negative" feelings I gave myself an icecream!
Remind yourself that your little girl is a great proof that you can have healthy babies when ever the negativity arises.... stay positive- stay hopeful. Good that you have vent your feelings here... keep it that way!
