Hey everyone,
I think we are long over due for a catch up. Is everyone free on Sunday 20 May? Let me know if you are in. Spring and I have just been chating and we think a beach theme will be nice. Bailey we can meet at your house and if you aren't going to be home, leave the keys in the letterbox! LOL!
Hope everyone can make it.
-
Lol Lynn, You guys can come over and while you are there, can you watch DS, co I might enjoy a day off :D
I should be able to make it....woo hoo, hopefully we'll all be UTD by then!
-
Oh don't tempt me Bailey, I'd love to look after your little man but he might think I am a bit loopy. Anyway thanks for the invite to your place Bailey (lol)
I hope more than anything that all of you have graduated by then.... I can't wait to see you all.

Ha! He can't think you are any weirder than me!! My whole family is all stark-raving-bonkers so he's used to it!! Lol, I will have a chat to Tommysmum and see if she is in and we'll scope some locations!

Sounds like I'd fit right in with your family (lol)
It would be great to meet Tommysmum. See if you can round her up.

Spring, as the other ladies have said, please don't go anywhere, your stories of l'il spring is what gives us hope that one day we will get that chance to be mothers again. If we can be strong or as strong as you when we go through it, then we will all have learnt something from you.
Okay now close your ears AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
sorry I just needed to scream, (not related to above), some people are just ignorant
-
hi gals
yes i am free for Sunday 20th May so count me in ! I am a total nutter - are you sure you want to meet me ????
Will try to pop in tomorow to catch up on all posts - just dropped the MIL at the airport (has been here since Sat and i am exhausted)....
Hope you are all well.

We are all nutters so you will fit in perfectly!!!!!!

Was just thinking that if you guys still want to come out his way, and it is nice weather, we can have a beach picnic or something?? There are stacks of cafe's and restaurants along the beaches, but they tend to be flat out on a weekend and will kick us out once you have eaten (not like that fantastic place in Parramatta that we went to last time - for 5 hours) Just an idea, let me know what you guys think.
-
Bailey - will you have DS with you ? I might bring Emily along but she will be a nightmare if we chatter for hours - so i might try and palm her off after a while. Let me know what you are thinking of doing...
-
Nah, I will be leaving him with dad or nan. Same here, he will get too much.
-
Bailey
I am still really happy to come to your hood. I haven't been to the beach since moving to Sydney so if it suits everyone else then I would love to come there.
I think we were mentioning fish and chips on the beach but we can just see what we feel like on the day.
I can't wait
Lv Spring
-
Yeah I'm easy. Fish and chips on the beach or we could all bring something to have a picnic (chicken, salad, rolls etc).
-
Hey ladies, I just wanted to confirm that we are still on for this Sunday.
I am easy on the time. How about 11.00ish, does that sound good?
Lv Spring
-
Spring check out the TTC thread. Details on Sunday are in there.
-
Thanks Lynn, I just saw them. 12.00pm it is.
I'll call you on Saturday so we can organise to get there together.

Hey Girls,
Well I think the time has come to organise another catch up. I think a drive out to our Nation's Capital to see Tess is in order.
I asked DH and he said Golburn is a good place, it is a bit closer to Canberra (only about 100kms drive from Canberra), but seeings Tess is driving by herself I think that is fair. Obviously if there are any other suggestions then I am happy to go anywhere.
Now the big question is dates. With all the appointments that people have at the moment I think the best thing to do is just nominate a date and see how we go. How does, Sunday 24 June sound?
Alternatively we can organise a Sydney catch up this time, and then do the Canberra trip next time if it is too short notice.
Just thought I would get the ball rolling. Can't wait to see you all and catch up on all the news.

Wish I was a bit closer, i'd come too :(
-
Jo I wish you could come too
Spring - I'm easy. Either a trip to Canberra or Sydney. What do the other girls think? The 24 June is fine by me.
-
Hi gals
The 24th June be a bit iffy for me - won't know if i am free for another week or so (just planning to visit a family friend who is dying) . Either way i will probably have to take my little DD with me too - no problem though. Goulburn is fine too - cant wait to see you Tess !!!
Talk soon about it anyway
-
Hi Girls
I can do the 24th But I have a 40th the night before so in saying that I dont think I would be up to a drive! Sorry Tess but We can make a sydney one later or on anthor date I would do a canberra one mybe an overnighter leave saturday come home sunday? I know its 2hrs but 4 hrs in one day for all you pg women! let me know.

Tommysmum: I am sorry to hear about your friend. We can make it another weekend if that one is going to be a tough one for you. Big :hugs: babe.
Dream: a 40th the night before, girl I don't expect to see you before noon so I think a road trip is a bit of a crazy idea.
So can anyone suggest a more suitable date.
Lv Spring
-
Hey guys - would you been keen to do an overnighter? As Dream said 2 hours each way - going to be a tiring day. I don't mind either way.
Still don't know about the 24th (actually i have a 30th the night before too) - we were supposed to visit DH's family friend (he is in his 60's dying of cancer - waas only just diagnosed and not looking good) on the Sunday gone but with the weather/floods it was just to dangerous to travel up the coast. So we are waiting to see his progress and then go on the spur of the moment (on a w/e though).
I am more free in July if this suits better. BAiley works on a Saturday too so won't be suitable - perhaps a Sunday (or a sleepover leaving Sat arvo). Any thoughts?
-
Hey guys, i should be ok to do the 24th, we were meant to be going down the coast but it is too cold and i have been feeling too gross to try to enjoy a holiday. I could probably do an overnighter, but not that particular weekend, cos DH has a thing on on the saturday night.
-
Why don't we just do a Sydney catch-up on the 24th and do a Canberra trip another time? I think we are all free for Sunday lunch aren't we? Are we still going to head down Nat's way?
-
Hi ladies - i think I got the general idea of what you are thinking and want to say first 'thank you' for seriously considering meeting me halfway. I will let you know what i can do and it may make things easier too.
i am happy with a sleepover in Goulburn - could be fun and i agree it will split the journey for everyone. I am okay for 23/24 June, then okay for the Sunday of 01 July (but not a sleep over on Sat night too). After that i am afraid I will be out of action until 28/29 July as I have family visiting from the UK for 3wks.
Hope this makes sense, maybe like Lynn said you guys catch-up in Sydney on 24th and then come to Goulburn in July/August maybe?
-
Hi Girls
24th is fine down my way even better, and a road trip in july/aug sounds great, nice and cold so we can drink red...... oh I forgot (joke) hot choccie all day long!
Any thoughts? :)
-
HI ladies - i should be ok for 24th for lunch. I have just booked MIL on an early flight so i can come.
We might have to do the Goulburn visit in August - i think that is a good idea Tess. PErhaps we should start figuring out some dates as everyone gets booked out pretty quick.
-
Well it sounds like the 24th it is. Tess we will be your way next time but it will have to be early August as I will only have a few weeks to go and don't want to be too far from home IYKWIM.
I was speaking to Lynn and she said she will be seeing you Tommysmum and Bailey at the S&K meeting so I am happy to go with whatever is organised.
Anyway, time for a rollcall .

Sorry Bailey I had a little chuckle at your BYO bucket!
All sorted then! How exciting! I love our catch ups. Ok I will have a chat to Nat about some place we can go to and then will discuss with the girls on Wednesday and then I will call you Spring to let you know.
-
Yep, count me in. I should be ok without the bucket, I'll bring a paper bag instead, it might be a bit more discreet!
-
So its next sunday, down my way? I will chat with Lynn if she is ever home and find somewhere good.
-
Yet again, the gods have conspired to render me unavailable. Not football this time - my parents!!! Dad has a specialist appointment on the Friday and the Monday but it also gives them another meeting with the grandbaby :D I WILL meet with you girls soon (but even if the parents weren't down I am banned from driving at the moment post c-section ) Enjoy the outing - I am jealous!!!
-
Bummer Michelle, we would have loved to have finally met you and get introduced to your wonderful little man. Next time....
-
Would have loved to meet you on Sunday Michelle. One day, we will meet up!
-
Michelle -would have loved to meet you and your little man Oscar - but i am afraid i probably would have kidnapped him. LOL
Bailey - pls bring a bucket - if you are coming in my car you need a bucket ! LOL.
Can't wait - still have to get a b/sitter for DD - should be ok though.
-
Hey girls
I can't wait for tomorrow and catching up with you all. But I have to be honest, I have a head cold. I am on the tail end of it and feel heaps better, but I would be so angry with myself if any of you caught it. So am I still allowed to come? I promise not to sneeze, cough or blow my nose near any of you.
If I am quaranteened I will understand.
Lv Spring.

Have a nice time ladies - looking forward to meeting you all in August.
I am available every weekend in August so whatever is most convenient for you lot.
Have a good time - hope the weather stays dry.
Take care, T.
