I'm not sure if you are still around, but I have had a similar experience. Hubby and I started to TTC in 2004, and we had a miscarriage at 5 weeks the first month. After another year TTC and not falling pregnant, we went on clomid and in dec 2005, I fell pregnant and after a bleed at 6 weeks, carried by beautiful son to term. I didn;t think much of the first miscarriage. My doc said it's not uncommon, and many women have a miscarriage first time they are pregnant??
In july 08, we started TTC #2, and in apr 09 I went back on clomid after no joy. I was overjoyed when I fell pregnant our first month on clomid, but again I miscarried at 5 weeks. I finally fell pregnant again this month, and I have just this week miscarried at 5 weeks again.
My GP was great and said, although it's generally practice to refer to FS only after 3 consecutive misccarriages, if I wanted to be refered on he would happily do so (He's a great guy, my GP). Tomorrow I am going to FS, and I will be INSISTING on getting further blood work done.
SOmething I've noticed as I have read this thread is that lots of us miscarry at around the same time each miscarriage. I'm sure that has something to do with RMC.
Thanks for posting this thread, it's a support to those of us who feel we are isolated and shouldn't be 'airing our dirty laundry' (I was told that by someone) in public.
Thanks
Bec
