Thanks Laney for posting the link. The tiny little thing, it's so heart wrenching seeing her with all those tubes, but it sounds like she is doing well, and I know you've been here before Cindee. What a little love she is. Love her nursery as well, so sweet!
Cindee - Congratulations on the birth of Miranda Eva. I wish you both every success and sending lots of love to you. The NICU and SCN staff are amazing people with lots of experience you are both in great hands. She is so sweet.
Cindee, congratulations on the birth of your precious daughter. Welcome to the world Miranda Eva!!!! I am so glad she's going so well. She is just gorgeous Cindee, well done hun!
Keep us posted with Miranda's progress.
Love

Just a quick post to say thank you again for all your kind and beautiful thoughts for yesterday. The day went well and we released the balloons for Joshua which was just beautiful. Each person wrote a little message for him on their balloon, it was really touching, and we watched them fly into the sky for good 5 minutes until we couldn't see them anymore. The sky was clear with only a few clouds so the blue and white ballons were clearly visible.
Laney wow you are going along so well hun. i do know hwo scary it can still be there. With thi sone we have had a scare all along. First with DS as the NT came back high so we had CVS done (worry over m/c rates and results but HE is fine), then a had placenta previa which has now moved but then he was breech. At some time he turned in the last week and is now presenting just fine although already 5lb4oz by scan measurements.. however he has the cord around his neck which is how Annabelle died.
it never seems to be anything going right.
Tildy I hope you are allowed to take the early maternity leave. beleieve me you will appreciate it!
I had better go see what Ds4 is up to with the icy poles.
hugs
Jude
Cindee -- super congratulations on Miranda's entry into the world! I hope her stay in the hospital is calm and healthy.
Yup Jude, I managed to move my maternity leave up a bit. I'll be on full time leave from February 28, and until then I'm working half time (or as much as I feel I can/need to get my coworkers up to speed on how to do my job, but I feel I've trained them up really well already). I'm sooo looking forward to it. Today I'm going to the maternity ward though to have my kidneys checked, because they say the pain I've been having sounds like there's fluid collecting around my kidneys, and I've been sleeping just 2-3 hours per day because of it. Let's hope I don't nod off behind the wheel on the way to the hospital. :P
teagz you are so sweet. happy valentines day to you all.
beata your day sounded so beautiful i think the balloon idea is lovely we were thinking of doing that on chloe's 1st birthday with friends.
the ivf drugs i'm on at the moment are ethinyl oestradiol and cardaprin (sp) take one a day along with elevit have a scan this tuesday to see how the lining is going and then fet on the 24th. I had a bit of a break down on poor dh the other night we didn't think that we would have to do ivf again and it just felt all a bit overwhelming. but i have settled down again now. it is so comforting seeing all you pg women moving along so nicely. well best go we are going to see friends this morning oh yes and i got a gund teddy and hugo boss red for valentines day so feeling very lucky this morning.
have a super day girls hope you all get spoilt.
Happy Valentines Day to all my beautiful friends ! I hope everyone has a great day today xxx
Dee, big hugs hun . I know IVF is overwhelming sometimes, but hang in there and think of your little bub coming to you soon xxxxxxxxxx The balloons were just awesome, we watched them fly away so far up into the sky and it was really magical.
Dh and I officially started TTC - ok well we're dtd and seeing what happens rather than purposely making out to make a baby. I threw out my O kits I am not going to track anything we're just going with the flow
hey girls my scan went great emmy (yes we name our embryo's) should go in on tuesday as long as the defrost process goes all well
okay as for the questions about ivf yep i'm doing a fet at the moment i'm only on ethinyl oestradiol and cardiprin one tablet each day. starting thursday will be taking those as well as provera 4 times a day (tablet) and progesterone pessary afternoon and night and crinone pessary morning and lunch these are vaginal gels. hope that all makes sense keep the questions coming i don't mind at all.
thanks so much for all the well wishes i feel like i can let all my fears out in here and not be judged most of my close friends don't have children yet so is hard for them to understand how badly we won't this. have a lovely night girls.
Just popped in to wish Diana good luck for tomorrow's eggie harvest, I hope the procedure goes very well and there's lots of good little eggies to make beautiful little embies!!!! Thinking of you hun, big hugs
Jo, I'm back in early March, don't want to leave my comfy little house for hard work at the office! Will be good to catch up on the goss though, and see my friends...I've forgotten what they look like LOL! Enjoy your maternity leave, and your little girl
Teagz, find out what is going on down there if this keeps happening...might just be your cycle, plus you haven't been feeling the best lately. You're a good girl for cooking up a feast for your family, I don't remember the last time I cooked . Must put that one down on my 'wish' list, DF will be very happy! Big hugs hun
Big hello and hugs to all our lovely ladies, almost half way through the week now!!
Dee, that is fabulous news hun. I will be thinking of you next week for your transfer. Will keep everything crossed for you for a successful thawing out! I will be in the same boat in May (hopefully) as my little embie will be de frosted too. I hope and pray (for us both) they come through OK!
And thanks for answering my questions hun, I only did one stimulated cycle of IVF, so I'm not familiar with the other part to it, which is the frozen embie transfer and what happens with that. Thanks hun, you're one step ahead of me and that helps me to understand the process better
Love b xxxx
Well, today I have taken a personal day from work! Yesterday arvo I could feel my throat playing up again and I'm 99.99999% sure that I now have thrush back bugger it. I feel like I need a month off work just to get my body back in order and concentrate on that and not anything else but, I don't see tha happening anytime soon so I day is just going to have to do!
Also, some gorgeous soul has given my a random act of kindness and a platnum membership... so, i have no idea who it is was but to cover all basis thankyou to whoever you are! Small things like that just make you realise that there are wonderful people out there that would do anything for you, even if they are strangers almost. I feel so lucky to have found this wonderful site where I can pour my heart out at any time of the day and there are always people who are there and understand what Im feeling and also others that I can hopefully offer some support and comfort to You girls are all so amazing and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise!
I did a post and lost it!! Agrrrrr!!!!! BB has crashed heaps on me today....
Teagz, you poor love. You're not having a good run..big hugs. When you see your doc next ask if there is something you can take to keep on top of the thrush. I don't know if yakult would help or drinking cranberry juice??? I used to get colds all the time, and then I started drinking yakult every day, and I take a super garlic and horseraddish tablet once aday (v. potent). I don't get sick much at all these days (unless someone at the office sneezes on me), and I don't get thrush unless I'm on super duper strong antibiotics (which I have been on twice after my placenta was removed manually).
I hope you poor wee body bounces back to good health very soon
I think I also got given the random act of kindness & a platinum memb. (I think, I'm not sure!!!!) but if I have, I want to thank the beautiful and generous person who gave it to me. I am very honoured and speechless (which does not happen a lot LOL) thank you from the bottom of my heart. This site, and particularly, this thread, has helped me in so many ways since I lost Joshua. I wouldn't be where I am today, if it wasn't for you girls. Thanks so much for all your support
A special hi to Diana, I hope you're resting heaps today hun, you've had a big day. Thinking of you and keeping my fingers and toes crossed for lots of healthy, strong and beautiful sticky embies
