Humph, I don't know what's happening with me. Look at my stupid chart!
19e9cf Ovulation Charts
Morning my dear friends and thanks for your positive vibes, I believe they worked!
My scan showed about 24 eggs (with lots of smaller ones around 12-13mm) but these 24 are in the running so far with 9 or 10 of these over 18mm. The nurse said it's a fantastic response but we have to watch out for over stimulation so I am back in on Wednesday for another scan.
So far, looks like egg pick up will be on Friday to give the smaller follicles a chance to catch up and to get my lining a little plusher. It's 6.4mm atm and she said she wants to see it over 7mm. Anyone have a comment on this?
Sorry Lan, can't offer any advice on your chart but hopefully the other girls can help. Do you have any thoughts?
Hi Lan, I did charting for 6 months before we found out we had to do IVF, but I never really liked it that much. I was confused sometimes as my body was telling me one thing and the chart another...Looking at your chart, I'd say you O'd on Friday?????? The way I knew I was most fertile was when my CM was really getting clear and wet, so then I DTD every second day right through when the CM became very sticky and 'egg white' like. I usually O on CD15, but rather than relying on this, I make a note about the CM and that's good enough for me. I found the bit about charting on the net just before :
If you are trying to conceive, it is worth knowing that charts are not as easy to use nor as accurate as urine-based OPKs for predicting ovulation. Fertility experts also warn against charting because it is an unreliable method of ovulation prediction and using them to time intercourse can make the whole process of trying to conceive more stressful. Beware of becoming obsessed with your temperature chart - it's easy to understand how this can happen, given that it's the first thing you have to think of doing when you wake up in the morning!
personal question I know, but do you take note of your CM in your cycle????? Here's the info on CM I found:
Pre-Ovulation
Following the menstrual period, there is a feeling of dryness. There will be no visible mucus. Gradually, more mucus will accumulate - yellow, cloudy, or white in color and sticky to the touch.
Approaching Ovulation
As you approach ovulation, your cervical mucus will increase. First, there will be a moistness or stickiness to the mucus, as well as a white or cream-colored appearance.
During Ovulation
At ovulation, the quantity of mucus will increase greatly and the appearance will resemble "egg whites", often semitransparent. The texture will become increasingly slippery and 'stretchable'. This is your most fertile time.
Following Ovulation
Following ovulation, the slippery quality of the cervical mucus will decrease and the mucus will become sticky and cloudier. Post-ovulatory dryness will also ensue.
Diana, woo hoo for 24 eggies!!! That is super news. I can understand the nurse wanting another scan as hyperstimulation is one of the risks with IVF, although this happens very rarely. When I had egg collection I had 12 good size eggs (one didn't make it to the ICSI stage) so they fertilized 11 eggies and 7 went on to become embies, 2 survived to day 5 but hey, the first one transferred worked with Josh so it can happen!!!! Good luck hun, looks like everything is on track. Can't help you with the lining though, I'm not sure what it was when I had the transfer but they will know with the many U/S you'll be having. Fingers crossed for Friday hun
!!!!
Love to all

Hello Gorgeous-es!
Beata, Haha, yeah I thought you had mixed me with someone else! You must be having a rush of blood to the head from lack of action. Don't worry, 2 weeks will fly by in no time! Hopefully it will give your scar some time to de-sensitise itself a bit, so you can enjoy it with no worries!
That little bunny rug sounds cute too ^^; We bought something similar for SIL's son when he was born and he still drags it around as a little security blanket (He's 3)
DD, Yay!! Sounds like you're reacting extremely well to your drugs! I'll be sending you good vibes for a nice, squishing, lush, plush lining!
Lan, Oh dear... I don't know anything about charting (yet, although I would like to keep it that way). Has it ever been out of sorts before?
Dee, Just want to give you a huge
NaeNae, That sounds lovely about the feather, definately your little Angel! I haven't had anything that peaceful from Jayvan yet! The other day my dog stuck his nose into a glass trying to lick the dregs out of the bottom, and the entire thing exploded around his nose and left the base of the cup still sitting, undisturbed, on the ground (dog unharmed, thankfully!). I imediately thought of Jayvan playing tricks on our poor dog as it's exactly the sort of trait he would have inheritted from DF! It's lucky he's a sooky, placid boy, being a german shepherd he could very well hold his own!
Joselyn, Thanks for the well wishes! I love your name by the way, it reminds me of A Nights Tale, I love that movie!
Hi to all the preg mumma's! Good to see no news from you
Hope I haven't missed anyone! AFM. Either it was a false alarm with Thrush or I got to it early, because my southern regions are feeling much better this morning (**touch wood**), Thank goodness! I'll be able to carry on with all my BDing plans!(I love that icon!)
Happy Monday! xx
Hi ladies
Lan - your chart is definitely up in the air isn't it? Maybe your body geared up for ov and then it didn't happen as I see you had 1 day of EWCM and now you are back to W which is still a good sign. Keep up the loving I say and hopefully that egg will pop soon
Diana - that is great news about your follicles! How exciting to be so close to what is hopefully a BFP for you in a couple of weeks...
Teagz - that icon is great! I hadn't seen it before, made me smile
Beata - if it's any consolation I didn't get any Valentines day action either. In fact I haven't had any loving for so long now I can't even remember when it last was! Another couple of weeks and we might be game enough to risk it. Maybe...
Nae - that is a lovely story about the feather and it sounds beautiful that garden you have set up. I had big plans for an angel garden in our yard but unfortunately gardening is not exactly my forte and so it hasn't gotten very far. I have a beautiful ornament out there but it is now surrounded by weeds!
AFM, I am 30 weeks today![]()
I am feeling very relieved to have made it this far although I keep finding myself having to push aside all those other stories I now know about losing babies past this point. I WILL be bringing this little girl home.
Love to all and a big hello to those I missed in the personals x
Jo, 30 weeksYou are doing so well, please try to stay positive. I get so emotional when I see your ticker, in a very happy way that is. I understand your fears but I also know that you WILL certainly bring this little girl home. Do you get the stitch removed at 36 weeks?
Beata, Joshua was one determined little boy wasn't he. I hope one of these beautiful eggs will attach itself to me and not let go for 9 monthsHow is the tummy feeling today?
Teagz, glad to hear your nether region is happy and healthylets hope it stays that way so you can get some good loving in.
Dee, hope your scan goes well tomorrow and I also hope you get the answers you seek from FS. Have everything crossed for you HUGS
Big hugs to all x
Congrats Jo!!!! I remember when I first joined this thread, you were at the hospital on complete bed rest..Look at you now! 30 weeks, wow!!! I'm so proud of you, and you will DEFINITELY be bringing Lilly home with you. You know that we're all behind you 150%, you can do it!!!!
PS feel better knowing I wasn't he only one without any action on VD
Nae, I love your little red face mustering all the sticky vibes LOL
Teagz, love that icon too, so cute! So, seems like the thrush scare is over, muster (my new word for today, thanks Nae!) all you enegry as you'll need it soon for all your lovin' girl....!!!
Lan, sorry, the blood really is getting to my head lately....you are charting your CM. A bit confused now too....My doc gave me the best advice. He said 'have regular relations and have fun at it, and you've got the best chances of conceiving'. Luckily, my DF and I have a very healthy s*x life, so we never felt like we were really trying. Too bad, it was getting us nowhere....I still have the smallest of small glimmers of hope that we might conceive naturally, I always say, NEVER SAY NEVER!!!
Even when we were starting IVF last year, he said to keep doing what we nornally 'do', because if you focus too much at the whole process, you stop enjoying your life.
Beata, ROLF, relations... Sorry... that's the 12 year old coming out in me XD
I have a friend that is driving me bonkers. She'll say something about her daughter, then as soon as she says it she says "oh but don't worry, you'll have that soon!" and then I will have an uncontrollable bout of word vomit which usually offends her and then I'm having to "fix her up" because she'll have a guilt attack about saying whatever she said. *deep breath in* It's exhausting... to the point where I wish she'd just leave me alone. It sounds horrible but I'm trying to just push her out of my life as she has caused other unnessessary drama's in my life, but she just won't get the hintI'm a b*tch.
relations
always makes me think of family not DTD. I think its funny when Drs use terms like this or hesitate before using proper words for your bits.
Teagz - Isn't verbal diahorrea wonderfulnext time you suffer a case of it with your "friend try to avoid the temptation to fix her up seriously she is being a bit - absent minded? - with her comments so to hell with her.
Maybe do the slow cut off thing you know, don't rush to catch up, take some time to return calls etc or just be really busy all the time
When I cut off people (which i haven't done in years) I go cold turkey on them - now thats a B!tch act.
oh Jo, I am so sorry, now I have you and Sue mixed up (Hi Sue! sorry!).
Well, I am officially off BB today as I don't know what I'm talking about anymore. I think it is my frasturation ATM with the lack of 'special hugs' and 'relations' lol.
I hope everyone has a nice day today, I am going for a lie down and take an asprin.
Over and out
B xxxxxxxx
Oh Beata you poor love, have a nice rest and de-muddle a little
Teagz, boo to your friend - if she keeps upsetting you, then please keep some distance. You have very important matters to attend to now and you can't let anyone upset you.
The clinic rang - I'm going in for egg pick up on WEDNESDAY - not Friday. OMGit is so soon! Last awful synarel sniff tonight
then my trigger shot at 8pm - then NO MORE DRUGS WHOO HOO
Ok now I'm starting to freak out...
DD, How exciting!!
I can't wait, I can't even imagine how you must be feeling!
Beata, oh dear, you poor love! You're not having a good run at the moment are you![]()
Hi everyone
I just wanted to pop in and say hi to all of you.
I have been so busy lately and by the time I get home I jump on and read everyone's posts but have been too drained to post replies. Sorry
I am seeing the OB and diabetic specilaist on Wed and having another scan on Friday.
Sending lotsato you all
Theresa xxxx
OK, so I couldn't stay away LOL
Diana, this is so exciting! It's all happening, hey? Don't worry hun, you'll be fine, they'll get some great eggies which will make some very nice looking embies and you're off!!!!! I'll be thinking of you on wednesday
Teagz, I haven't had a good run lately, so I am reducing my post size, in case I make a boo boo again. I certainly didn't intend to offend anyone.....sorry!
Your friend probably doesn't think before she speaks (like me ATM)....
Nae, I'm with you. When someone p***es me off, I give them the cold shoulder....and boy do they get the message thenlol
Theresa, good luck with the scan on Friday and the doc visits, I hope everything looks good.
AFM, I rang the doc today as I was a bit concerned about the low abdominal pain and sore back, and he said that the uterus is still contracting as it's going back to its normal size. Phew, that is a relief, I thought I popped some stiches inside (I guess I would have known if I did!!),
Love and hugs to all my friends
B xxxx
haha Beata, don't be so hard on yourself! The worst you did was get our names mixed up![]()
Hi Ladies,
I just got back from my doctor's appt and ultrasound. Our little man is doing really well. He was moving all over the place and making it very difficult for the ultrasound tech. The measurements are still very good, he is growing well. He weighs a bit over 500 grams now. I see the doctor once a week now and I get another ultrasound in 2 weeks. I also get to see my high risk doctor in 3 weeks for another growth scan.
