Hi Diana,
The super exciting day is finally here!!! Yey!!!!!!! Sooooo excited for you hun, I fell asleep last night with my fingers and toes crossed for you lol. Here's to the other embies, hope they're doing well too :pray::pray::pray::pray:
I wish I was having my transfer too!!!!!!! Soon!!!!!
PS Remember to take it easy afterwards, no heavy lifting or too much bending or funny twisting or running a marathon!!!!! And no 'relations' for a while, little embie will get scared!! he he
All my love and big big hugs hun

Gosh it was busy in here last night!
First, DD, I hope your transfer does go well today, sorry I missed that part of your post before And ditto to what all the other girls said. Get home and relax and be a little preggo goddness!
beata, the house will always be messy when you get back! (ok, that was meant to sound a little more encouraging than what it actually did) Just leave it and go and enjoy yourself, pah-leasse!! Do it for those of us still slaving away at work if you can't do it for yourself ;) And take it from me, if you start doing to much while you're not 100% you're going to be fighting it for that much longer!
Dinner last night was quite pleasant. I was a little worried cos SIL kids are little horrors sometimes and DF is all thingy about his new TV, but, they watched That 70's Show most of the night and fell asleep! So cute!
I need to have a whine as well, I probably sound like a broken down record but I cannot beat this thrush! Not even the Dr's will help me do anything about it until my cold/throat thing has cleared up because he said any swabs they take won't be accurate because I have a temp and whatnot... And, Dr's are really blase about thrush, has anyone noticed that or is it just mine? I just don't know what to do anymore!? It's getting me so down and its so frustrating, I just want my bits to be normal so I can get carried away DingTD without worrying if it's going to hurt or not!! :(
-
todays update is emmy is a four cell graded at a two plus. this is the same as our last embryo that we feel pregnant with so i am quite happy with that. diana hope everything went great and you are at home resting thinking of you will update you all again tonight.
-
Ugh, I've just realised I've mixed up my days & CM and missed CD14. We've DTD every single day but CD14!!
-
Dee, I'm so glad little emmy is doing so well. I have everything crossed for you hun, I would be over the moon and back if you and Diana got your BFPs!!!! That would be an answer to my long prayers!!
Diana, I hope you're taking it easy today and still praying very hard that little embie sticks like super glue LOL
I've been lurking in the 2WW February thread and the girls there are awesome, so much support and encouragement. You should pop in there hun, but also stay with us so we can all cheer you on!!!! That goes for you too Dee!!!
Teagz sweets, I am so over everything ATM, I am currently on cleaning strike and I have my feet up today ;). Now with your thrush, I am more than convinced that it keeps coming back because you are extremely run down of late. I don't know if I mentioned this to you before hun, but try yakult ever day and take some good grade multivitamins (are you taking elevit????????). I'm not surprised that you're so run down hun, you've been through so much. I only ever get thrush when i'm on super strength antibiotics. When I do get it, I take that one tablet for thrush and use the cream on the outside and that usually does the trick. Hope it goes away soon hun, I can imagine how frasturating it must be :wall:.
Hope everyone has a great week, it's my last week off before joining the rat race!!!!!!
Love and hugs
B xxxxx

I don't really want to try Yakult because of the amount of sugar in it... I have just been reading up on Fast-Tract so I'm thinking I might give that a go as it's meant to target "that kind" of bacteria. Yeah I'm pretty sure with the antibiotics from the D&C and the ones I have been on for my cold thing it has pretty much stripped my body of anything in it that was good. I asked my Dr about that thrush tab but he reckons it's a no-no while TTC and prefers I use a pesary or creams which work, but then I need something to prevent it from coming back! I'm so sorry that I keep whining but, aargh!!!
I'm glad you're keeping your feet up today as well, get as much rest as possible! You can never have to much and you need to be nice and relaxed and healthy for May!
On a bit more positive note, DF is due for a payrise in July and may be getting an increasing due to a change of position towards the end of the year. It's quite exciting because it means I'll be able to stay home a little longer with bubs (there I go again, planning what I don't even have yet!) and we'll be able to live quite confortably still. I'm so proud of him, he's making such a huge effort with everything baby lately and is doing so well at his job the supervisors think he's the bee's knees
-
Teagz, you're right hun, yakult is probably more for the digestive system anyway. I thought that you couldn't take the 'pill' if you were pregnant, not also when you're TTC. I suppose if you know you're TTC you would make a concious decision not to use it, but what if you've taken the pill and you don't realise you're up the duff?? I suppose it's better to stay away from the tablet altogether .
So if you use the cream on the outside, do you think that will help? It's such a vicious cycle, isn't it? Why does it happen to us girls??!! When I have thrush I don't go anywhere near DF as I tend to pass it onto him, and then he has to wait a few days for it to clear up. Once he was too impatient when I passed it onto him, and then he gave it back to me!!! We didn't have 'relations' (he he) for 2 or 3 weeks. Now that was torture!!!!! ;)
Your DF sounds like such a great guy and a good provider, wanting the best for you and bub. That is super special hun, you should spoil him rotten (i'm sure you do anyway!)
-
I've porbably passed it on to DF as well! Because we've still just kept DTD to TTC... Baah, I didn't think of that!!! He hasn't got any symptoms though... Can I just slather him in vaginal cream just in case? XDD
Gosh, it's all just to hard!
Yeah, apparently the pill hangs around in your system for a while after you take it so he said to avoid taking it :dunno: I'm just doing as I'm told. Dr's crack me up though sometimes, he was so dismissive about it when I said it keeps reoccuring, like I told him I had a p r i c k l e in my finger.
-
okay girls transfer is booked in for 11.45am tuesday (tommorrow) my stomach is in knots i know i won't sleep tonight and then we have a two hour drive into town which always seems to take so much longer on these days. diana how are you doing?
-
Hi girls and thanks to those that sent me some good vibes for today.
Well one little cutie is in and it was an AA grade so absolutely perfect. One is in the freezer which is an AB grade so just short of perfection. The other two will stay in the dish for one more day then the scientist will make a decision tomorrow as to whether they are strong enough to withstand the freezing/thawing process.:pray:
Now the dreaded 2WW begins and I really think this is the hardest part! Oh please little cutie latch on to your mummy pleeeeeeease  FS said I should expect implantation within 24-48 hours so I'm certain I will be trying to feel anything that resembles a latch-on! It's all up to the Gods now, no more medical intervention and there is nothing I can do other than pray
I had acupuncture straight afterwards and am going for another session on Wednesday. Did you know the pressure points for your uterus are in your legs and particularly your ears!
Dee, your grading sounds different to Sydney so I assume little emmy is just as fabulous. Does your clinic grow them into blastocysts? I have everything crossed for you my sweet and pray little emmy latches on and doesn't let go until 9 months time! Can't wait for your update
Beata, oh words are not enough to show you how much I appreciate your support, encouragment and excitement. You are truly an amazing woman and I just want to give you the BIGGEST hug ever. I just feel an enormous amount of love for you. Won't be long until your little embie is ready to snuggle in to you hun and I will be there for you every step of the way  Infact I was saying to DH tonight that I would love to go to Melbourne for a weekend so I can give you a hug in person and he said "sure, why not". So maybe one day I will!
I'm very happy to hear you had a much more relaxing day today. Your body has been through so much and you need to take it easy my sweets. Enjoy your few days away and spend some lovely time with DF, you both deserve and need it.
Teagz, sorry to hear that thrush is not leaving you alone. I also think it's because you have been so run down lately but keep eating healthy, drink lots and lots of water to flush the system. Now, I haven't tried this personally but I have heard from a few sources that plain yoghurt is very good for down there and you can even put some in the bath. Maybe you could try it? Or google it first, there may be something on it.
I'm having tomorrow off as well so I may just hang from the ceiling all day

Hi ladies,
sorry I've been awol, have been exhausted, but it's now all good because I'm on maternity leave!! ONE WHOLE YEAR!!! Thank God, though it's not as enjoyable as I hoped as my joints are all sore and stiff. Not complaining though!!!
Just wanted to say good luck to Dee and Diana with your little bubs-to-be... I hope you get swift BFP.
Also I think a while back Beata you asked me how long the numbness in the scar lasts... can't remember if I answered but mine felt funny for a couple of months I think. I also have a c-section brochure from the hospital that says the numbness/tingling can last a few months but is not a concern.
Love Rozzie

DD, Just dropping in to say that I'm putting in a prayer for you as well. I've just realise we're around the same TWW, I'm on CD15 today. I hope we both get some nice news for my 21st hehe ;)
:pray:ing for a sticky one, hunny!!!

Teagz, I would think that the DTD is irritating your thrush quite a bit. I got a yeast infection after the second round of antibiotics I recently had. I did a vaginal pill + cream thing, where you're supposed to continue putting the cream on 2-3 times a day until 3 days after the symptoms are gone. Well, out of the blue, DH got all snuggly while I still had a tiny bit of itching and irritation (out of the blue means probably the first time we've had sex for 2-3 months or so, heh) and I was in a very rare state of feeling no pelvic or back pain and no headache and sinus blah blah, etc., so I just couldn't pass it up. Even though I was, uh, nice and lubricated and everything, I was NOT a happy camper afterwards. The first thing I had to do was take a pee, and MY GOD did it sting. So I think I gave myself a few extra days of recovery because of that DTD. I didn't say anything to DH about it -- normally I have no secrets whatsoever, to the point that I consider it a drawback, but I just felt I had to draw the line at telling him that my vagina was dry and bleeding and that it was because he'd loved me up. ;) Don't want to discourage him...
Dee and Diana, I've got all my sticky-vibes voodoo mojo going for you two and your embies! What a long two weeks it's going to be, doh!
I'm with you Rozzie -- I have 5 days left until I'm on maternity leave, but I sort of get less and less excited every day, because I sort of feel like I'm too tired and sore to enjoy it. Even lying down and resting hurts, so it's not going to be a party. :( But then again, I think the aches and pains will settle some once I'm not sitting in this damn computer chair all day. *waddle waddle waddles back to the lab*

Dee I hope and pray very hard for a very very successful transfer tomorrow. Hun you'll be great I know it!!!! Little emmie will latch on with all its might for 9 months!!!!!! I can imagine how nervous you are hun, but please think positive & relax (i know, so much easier said than done!! lol). Everything is crossed for you hun, praying very hard for you tonight just like I did for Diana :pray::pray: I'll be thinking of you at 11.45 tomorrow morning!!!! GOOD LUCK SWEETIE!!!!!!!!!
Diana my sweetheart, you are a very dear friend and I've gone all blushy here with all your wonderful compliments!!! Stop it!!!(oh alright then, keep going he he he). Seriously, you know that I support you 150% as I know that going through IVF can be a very lonely road, so I am here to hold your hand and cheer you on!!!!!! Stick little perfect AA embie!!!!! And pleeeeeeese, come and visit me here!! That would be so awesome to meet each other in person! Can't wait, tell me when you're coming hun!!
You're not teasing me, are you??????????? You better not be!!!!
Still praying hard for little embie to stick around for the long ride!:pray::pray: And I hope you have a very relaxing day tomorrow (i love the thought of hanging down from the ceiling, I will try it too, lol)
Teagz, whenever DF gets the itchy thingie, I slap on a little of the canesten cream. Believe it on not, men can have thrush without the symptoms!!!! A chemist told me that. So if we DTD and then I get the itchy poonan, I give him the cream straight away so he nips it in the bud. Oh, and I also read somewhere too like Diana said that some sort of natural yougurt is good to put on down south as it inhibits the bad bacteria. Good luck sweets!!!!! And I pray you get your BFP soon too hun, we could have a few new preggie girls here soon!!!! yeepee!!!! lots of babydust to all TTC!!!!!
PS When do you turn 21????????
Rozzie, hellooooooooooooooooo!!! It's been so long hun. I'm sorry you're a bit sore hun, oh the joys of pregnancy (I say, BRING IT ON SISTER!!!!!!). How good does it feel to be on maternity leave hey ??? 12 months, how exciting..You'll be on extended babymoon!!
Thanks for the info on the scar hun, it's getting much better now, although it's still a bit numb. The little 2nd potty is getting smaller, although when I do heaps of bending it swells up a bit, and when I rest heaps it goes down (I should learn a lesson here....hellooooooo!!).
Big hello and hugs to all my lovely girls :grouphug:

Hello,
So much excitement going on at the moment.
Diana, fantastic news about the AA embie, latch-on little one and grow for mummy . I am sure everyone is telling you this, but relax and put your feet up as much as you can. Imagine your little one snuggling in and starting to grow. We will all be here to help you get through the TWW :comfort:
Dee, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as well hun, all the very best for emmy's transfer, I pray its a sticky little one  and we will also be here to help you through the TWW Dee :comfort:
Beata, I can just imagine you tearing around the house and garden like a mad women - lol! I agree with the girls take it easy and enjoy your last week off work. I look forward to supporting you during your next transfer as well, not long for you.
Teagz, you poor thing, thrush sucks. I recommend Inner Health Plus as it can help things get more 'normal' down there, particularly if you have been on antibiotics which can strip you of your natural 'wetness' sorry if TMI. I thought I had thrush once and was tested, but it came back negative. The dr told me to start wearing cotton full brief's (I didn't even own any) and strictly no synthetics like silk, lace etc as they can aggrevate things, and I must say it worked! She also told me to use a bit of sorbolene cream if I was sore / itching as I was pg at the time and it helped, but as I said, i didn't actually have thrush, but it was the same symptoms. Good luck hun. Also, if you dtd everyday bar CD14 you will still have your bases covered. I hope this is your month
Rozzie, so your going to be our next mumma in here I think? Not long for your now, how are you feeling? Congrat's on being on maternity leave, must be a great feeling, enjoy your time off and more importantly with bub when he/she (do we know?) arrives.
We will be action stations later this week, but DH is starting to get very busy again and even working at night (from home) so will get harder to fit everything in, but hoping its our month.
Dee, I pray you have a really good nights sleep. Safe travelling tomorrow.

hey girls!
just wanted to say to dee and diana a huge lot of luck for everything! i will keep my fingers and toes crossed that all your dreams come true for a bfp!Dee that drive will feel like a lifetime! Its an exciting time! My friend just had 3 eggs done which have grown into the embryo stage which is a start for her too.
teagz -you poor thing, i have never had thrush so from a personal point of view have no advice to give. I can't imagine how frustrated you are right now! But try and take care as it sounds like it is taking alot out of you! And missing one day-you should still be fine! Sounds like you right onto it!
beata - you are sounding really well! Your posts are so positive and enciouraging -i think that is wonderful!!!
berry -good luck for trying this month!!!! will keep some fingers crossed for you to!

Morning my dear friends
DH is standing over me as he takes the laptop to work but just had to pop in to wish Dee the best of sticky vibes today  GO EMMIE!
BBL for perssies. Have a good day x
-
Another good luck message, this time for Dee. GOOD LUCK!!! Hope little emmie sticks.
Still got those  going for you too Diana.
And Lan I just snuck a look at your chart back from page 3 (or round there) and it is looking nice... :)
Teagz - having only had thrush a couple of times and not recently, I can't really offer any tips for you other than get stuck into the probiotics. My mum always recommended natural yoghurt on a tampon to help with the itching and soreness. Sounds gross but apparently it works really well
And I know that it might be hard as you don't want to miss a chance of catching that eggie, but if you think you are now past ov, I would be giving up DTD for a while - even until AF arrives (or the BFP does!) just to give your body a break and allow the "natural environment" down there to recoup. And like the others have said, if DH has it too all you guys are doing is transferring it back and forth. Good luck anyway and that is it from Dr Jo!
Beata - take it easy woman and enjoy your last few days off work! If you are in nesting mode now, imagine what you will be like in your next pg when you reach the end and start pg nesting! I have already warned my DH about the whole nesting thing and how he will be arriving home to lists and how he should not think of arguing with the pg woman. He is wondering why he got married now I think
Good luck with testing this weekend jo76. Time for some more BFPs in here!
Need a shower so will end this here. Hi to everyone else and am sending all my positive vibes out to you all x
ps. Helen - you asked about pain in the cervix area. I don't get any at all although bubs has been lying head down for ages so maybe that is why. Sometimes I feel poking movements right down low and even at the back around my bowel area, but it never hurts, just feels weird. It's great to see your ticker speeding along there too x
