Dee, I'm so sorry you're going through all this heartache. You really don't deserve this on top of dealing with IVF, it must be so hard for you hun. Hang in there, and please don't go anywhere! You know that you'll get all our support here hun, please remember that we're always here for you. Big hugs
Megan, I'm so glad your app. went well. I really feel this is the best course of action for you together with the TCM. I talked to my friend at work (the one that did IVF and got pg on her first go), and she said that she went to see the AP because her kidneys were playing up a while before she started the IVF cycle. Apparently the woman told her that if your kidneys aren't performing 100% while TTC, you have very little chance of falling pg. Well, she sorted her kidneys out and bang! she got pg. Maybe it was a coincidence but you never know...
On the police check thingie, I rang the IVF nurse as I was worried it might not come in time for my cycle, but apparently they have moved out the date til September now so we're OK!
Cheryl, I'm so sorry your cycle is so horrid ATM. But with a little time and patience, I'm sure it's going to regulate itself hun, hang in there & don't give up hun .
Bec, I really hope AF stays away for you hun. But if it comes, have a few drinkies as it might be the last time you can have them, lol!! I pray for a BFP for you hun
I'm not sure if Diana is going to be upset with me for letting you know, but she is in hospital ATM as she's been bleeding a bit lately and the doc ordered total bed rest for her. I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing her a speedy recovery and keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We're all thinking of you hun and hang in there sweets!!!!
AFM, still plodding along, I DTD a few times around O time so technically I'm in the 2WW ATM. Not that I'm counting on a BFP but you never know..
My doc told me one day that although we have a very small (teeny actually) chance of falling pg naturally, stanger things have happened in the past!!
Big hello to all my beautiful friends and wishing everyone a lovely weekend
Dee, I'm so sorry. This is most defenately something you do not deserve or need right now. I'll be thinking of you chick, and remember we're all here to vent to when you need it
Beata, thanks for letting us know about Diana, I hope everything will be ok. I'll be keeping her in my thoughts. That little bubba will be a fighter, just like his/her mummy!
I hope you don't mind me checking up on you girls, i like seeing what you're all up to
Diana, I hope things are going ok hun and that the bleeding has stopped. Take care of yourself, I am thinking of you
Beata, does that mean that your transfer has been pushed out until Sept, or that they don't require the paperwork until then and you are still doing the transfer in July? Interesting about your friend. I have read that in Chinese Medicine the 'kidney' is linked to fertility, when they say kidney, they refer to this not just the actual organ. Anyway, I don't know much about it yet, but it makes sense to me that our conceiving or difficulty of it can be related to imbalances in the body. I have read some great things about AP resulting in more positive results for those going through IVF. I hope you get your little miracle Beata before the transfer, wouldn't that be funny! I have heard of cases where the couple had one embie transfered and ended up pg with twins as they conceived one naturally at the same time
Bec, I hope AF didn't arrive, but if she did no harm in enjoying a couple of wines, I do that when she arrives, I figure a couple of wines a month surely can't hurt! It must have been hard with your friend leaving work to have her baby. It is going to happen for you soon hun, hang in there.
Cheryl, I hope the super herbies work and AF turns up soon so you can get on with making bubba. The eating plan sounds great, I really hope it works for you hun. I have a great book by Zita West who promotes similar thinking. All the best
Hi Teagz, I hope you are doing well and looking after yourself and that little bubba. Please do keep popping in to let us know how you are going.
We're still going ahead with the transfer next month, they've just moved out the date so people can get their forms ready I think...So still going agead and now I just can't stop having dreams about it. Lately I've been dreaming that I'm pregnant, I so hope they will come true hun!
I came across a great thread in the pg with twins or more section, and it's so amazing how many women had one blastie transferred and ended up with twins!!! So you never know hun. They make you sign these forms at the IVF clinic that with a single embryo, you can end up with none, one, two, three or four babies! OMG. I would faint if they told me it was twins or triplets .
Hope everyone had a great weekend, will do some persies later.
Hi Beata, that's a relief, I was concerned you had to wait until Sept! I hope your dreams are a positive sign I think I would faint it they put in one embie and said 'congratulations, there are four, WHAT! That must be incredibly rare, but must be possible if its on the form? I just hope you get one happy healthy baby with your next transfer and if there ends up being two, the more they merrier hey
Hi girls
I hope you don't mind me keeping an eye on you all...just wanted to say thanks to Beata for letting us know about Diana. I had sent her a PM and seen she hadn't posted for ages and was getting worried about her. Hope she is okay. I know all about how much bedrest in hospital sux so can you let her know that if she needs to chat or wants a visitor I am here?! I can PM you my mobile so just let me know if there is anything I can do.
Good luck to all of you TTC and I hope to see lots of BFPs in here very soon!
Dee, sorry to hear about your problems with your DH. Hang in there.
Things are great with us - Kaitlyn is 2 months old now...time is just flying.
Take care girls,
Love Jo
Megan, I would faint too if they said there is four! lol. I guess that would be very rare but it must be a chance! I would be over the moon if I ended up with one healthy bubbie
Dee, I hope you're holding up OK hun. Sending you many hugs my love
Diana, I'm really glad things are improving for you sweetheart, keep on going strong!
Jo, thanks for you message hun and nice to hear from you! I'm glad things are going well with you and Kaitlyn.
I told Diana I could give her your number if she wanted. Today she said that the bleeding has slowed right down and it's only a bit of spotting now. The doc said he'd like for her to stay in hospital for another week and then she might be able to go home. I really hope and pray she's able to go home soon
Hi Bec, Cheryl, Teagz & TM, hope you're all doing well
Well, nothing new to report from me girls, just counting down the 3 or so weeks until my transfer. Yay!
Hi to everyone else out there, and big hugs to all
