Gi - oh my, oh my. that is just devastating... my heart just sank. i am so sad for your sil & bro. hope sil is ok after her d n c today. hmm, how to handle? you know what to do, apart from being yourself.... tell them you are sad and sorry for their lost lil one, and for their pain, let them talk cry etc, always treat their baby as a baby who existed, because for them that lil one was going to be a baby at home....and always remember their angels day. encourage them to do the things that they need to help honour another little life gone too soon. in my own experiences an earlier loss was easier to incorporate and adjust to than later ones.... still hreartbreaking, but a different grief journey. not sure if it's the same for other women though. my friend who's had 2 m/c doesn't memoralise at all or even really remember the dates, i do and sometimes that feels weird. so each to their own.
will be back later....need to have a cry for a wee little one and for broken hearts.
not much happening here - bounding from one illness to the next - hoping the healthy fairy visits us again soon.
