19wks preg with twins and got problems :(

what adorable photos! How are you finding life as a twin mummy?

Oh my they are divine! They are an absolute picture of health. You'd never have known that things were pretty worrying for a while there to look at them now.

Traveller- i absolutely LOVE being a twin mummy i love watching the girls together they love sleeping cuddled up to each other it's so sweet :) we get stopped by everyone when we go out!! and get comments about having 4 kids but so far it hasnt been hard its been great fun the boys are fantastic!
Trillian- you wouldnt think anything had gone wrong with Mia at all she has great muscle tone, can aleady push herself forward when on her belly and was lifting her head up to look around before she was even 2weeks old! Abbey would just turn her head and fall asleep when placed on her belly at first lol. Mia has had hearing tests and an mri and altho her brain scan still shows abnormalities she can do everything like a baby her age should be. Time will tell but we're positive and she is just so perfect to us as is her sister. Love them to bits!!
Ok i'll stop now lol i'm just a tad proud of them!

Abbey's in hospital :( she hasnt been keeping milk down and her nappy was dry after 4hrs so we took her to hospital. found out she has pyloric stenosis and is needing surgery. hopefully surgery will be tomorrow. i feel so helpless!!

:hug: so sorry Abbey is not well. My friend's little boy had Pyloric Stenosis and he is a strong and healthy three year old now but it is a scary time when a baby is ill. I hope she recovers fast from this

Oh Mummy Nelly, I have been following your journey and am so sad to read this news. You are such a wonderful Mummy to have recognised this and taken her to the hospital.....I will be thinking and praying for you all tomorrow.

So sorry to hear Abbey is not well. I have had a couple of friends who have had babies with PS and the bubs have recovered well from surgery. I hope that all goes smoothly and Abbey is home with you again soon!

thanks everyone for ur prayers and kind words. Surgery went well and she came home yesterday, a day after surgery. She still brings up some milk but nowhere near as much as b4! She is alot more content now too and i can tell she was missed by her sister! Hubby stayed at the hosp with her and i went in thru the days and when i went in yesterday she greeted me with big smiles! her first real smiles, so precious :)

Hi everyone, just a quick update. Unfortunately our smaller twin passed away on the 4th august. She passed in her sleep and by the time she was found it was too late. It has been put down to SIDS. :(
