My waters started to break at 24 weeks and I was admitted into hospital. We thought our babies were coming then but I was in hospital for 10 days on antibiotics and 4 hourly monitoring. We had ultrasounds done and the doctors were happy with the amount of fluid still around the twins so I was sent home. My waters were leaking during my hospital stay and I’m still leaking at home 2 weeks later. I've had another ultrasound done and there is still plenty of fluid around them. My obstetrician doesn't seem to be worried about my waters leaking and said it is quite common to have them leak until our babies are born up until term.
Has anyone experienced leaking fluid during a multiple pregnancy? Can the fluid stop leaking at all?

I have not experienced this personally (although I am a mum of twins) but one of my close friends has, at about the same stage as you. She went to 38 weeks when she gave birth via the sunroof because both babies were breech. Both her babies were well at birth and have continued to be well. They are fabulous wee toddlers now actually. I am not sure if she continued to leak fluid though, I shall ask her and get back to you.
I know this is a scary time, but try to relax as stressing yourself will not change anything. Your obstetrician seems to be keeping a close eye on you so take it one day at a time and hopefully it will be many weeks before you meet your babies.
