Hi SF - congratulations! I am a petite mum-to be of twins, and your fears were my fears exactly. Especially when we told people and most people shrieked at me 'Oh my god, where are they going to fit??!!" I am a little taller than you but have always been a bit of stick figure. I was 53kg before falling pregnant but with morning sickness, weighed 49kg at my first ob app at 10 weeks.
All I can say is the body is an amazing thing and you will be surprised with what it can do!I'm 32 weeks on Friday and honestly never thought I'd get this far. I've put on about 11 kg and most of it is all belly . You will hear this over and over again but rest as much as you can. I find the days I have been at work or I do too much walking around (or chasing my crazy 3 year old) I get very sore in my pelvis and legs. I've also been going to the chiropractor every 4 weeks just to have a bit of a adjustment, because I have been getting a sore back - either from the way I am carrying or the fact that I am sleeping in a nest of pillows

There is a fab book for twins mummies called 'Twins" by Katrina Bowman and Louise Ryan which has been my bible. I'll come back later to type more as I am off to my ob appointment now. Good luck with everything!
