I heard also about velcro that boys will undo the velcro - another downside - and reason for going for the snap clips. Plus you're right about drying time. I was told the hemp ones will take 12 hours and the minky ones a full day. Living in Brisbane with heaps of sun, that doesn't concern me as much; plus I was told they can go in the dryer if need be and won't hurt them. But good to know about not needing to soak. Must remember to check whether any of the brands have elastic around the legs. With the internet, no doubt I can get the brands you recommend anyway regardless of what state we live in.
