When did your twins turn 'head down'?

At least one of mine turned at 32 weeks. I was in the bath and literally felt her doing it. We had been at a wedding - ****tail reception with no seating and I had been standing up all day and started to feel hideous - you can imagine the mass panic at the wedding with everyone thinking I was about to go into labour Came home got in the bath and I am positive that's the moment one or both turned. I had a scan a few days later and both were head down, which is how they stayed until vbac delivery at 35 wks.

I am almost 33 weeks now with two little girls who have never been head down at all. Our last scan showed both placentas in unfavourable positions for them to turn at this stage of things so we are pretty much resigned to the fact that I will have a c-sec. I have another scan in two weeks but our OB has so much faith that they are comfy as they are that she has booked my c-section already. I m fine with that, we have plenty of time to prepare for it so we can make it the best experience that we can.

In saying that, hoping like mad that your little munchkins do the decent thing and turn head down

Holy crap, measuring 54 weeks I think I am measuring about 5 - 6 weeks ahead and feel like a heffalump!!!

Melissa, I was measuring full term for a singleton at 28 weeks and my Ob was waiting for me to go into labour at any time so I had steriod injections to mature the boys lungs.

But my belly just kept growing and growing and my Ob told me just as they were delivered that they seemed so comfortable that they probably would have stayed put for another week at least if I was left to go naturally (I had a c/s with my DD so went the the repeat c/s option due to possible rupture).

I however was ready for them to be out, I couldn't drive anymore as I couldn't fit behind the steering wheel, I had to sit very lady like ....NOT... with my legs apart as my belly could rest on the chair between my legs.. lol... and breathing was becoming as issue as my lungs were sooooo squashed - and I had an 18mth old to look after as well.
