Initial meeting with independent midwives

Most doulas and midwives do a no obligation initial meeting. I would suggest speaking to a few. Email me if you would like some names, with your suburb. Its my first name, at bellybelly.com.au

I met with 3 and paid for the petrol costs for the first midwife and actually paid for consultations for the other 2 because they each spent over 1.5 hrs with me. I clicked the best with the third and have to say having an IM was the best decision I made about my care during pregnancy.

I went to a 'meet the midwives' and information session with Midwives Naturally and got to have a quick chat to a few of the Midwives there. I pretty quickly made up my mind and chose.

Ahh- that's a good idea Jackrose. We may likely go with midwives naturally as most the midwives in my area are with them so maybe I should just meet them at one of those nights.

I went with a midwife from Midwives Naturally and she was just gorgeous. It would have been a totally different experience without her care.
