Just an update for everyone... I tried another IM today who came highly recommended to me from a local doula, only she hadn't responded to my email that I sent last week. When I caught her by phone she said she had at first thought she couldn't fit me in, but when she double checked the EDD of her other clients, she can do it. We are meeting a fortnight from now to get to know each other

She specifically offers home birth AND it seems she's available over the Xmas/ New Year period. Now just to cross fingers that we are a great match for each other.
