My question is, has anyone used a wedding planner?

Im just now starting to think about the wedding (after much nagging from family and most of all DF!) Anyway, i have no clue, honestly i have no idea what needs to be done and i dont know what options are available in this area as far as receptions etc go so was thinking about going for a wedding planner....

what do you all think?
