Lori I was 30 weeks pregnant when we were married and I was pretty huge But it really didn't matter, in fact I forgot I was pregnant for most of the night. I was having such a wonderful time and was so happy that being pregnant was a bit of a non-event fo the evening iykwim. I always imagined I would get married in the big princess dress but in the end it didn't bother me at all that instead I had to wear a flowing roomy dress, I think being a bit older (30) and settled changed what I wanted/expected from our wedding - anyway there is always the chance to renew our vows in 5 or 10 years in a big gown Basically the most important thing was that DH and I had the best night ever and were just so happy to be getting married that nothing else mattered.
I was about 26 weeks pg with #3, I was wearing a beautiful off the shoulder flowing dress, with a long train, I felt so pretty and for a time even forgot that I had a little someone squirming around in my belly. Plus having my older two there at the time was great, our oldest was 4 and he still remembers it.
Sometimes I wish that I was a bit smaller but really I think it really was the best day of my life and I can always have a renewal later down the track and not be pg.
i was 24 weeks at our wedding. at the start mum wanted me to change the date once i found out i was preg but i had already paid everything and i didnt see the point cause the invites had already gone out.
i had a few people look at picks later and go oh u were preg and some people made the comment about how we must of got married cause i got preg.
I love bumpy brides - work that glow! Use it before you lose it!
Pregnant weddings are fabulous - it's like a double celebration. Relatives with 'tude can go... be skinny somewhere else if they don't like it!
