Baby naming in brisbane or gold coast, ideas on venue!

We will be having a naming day for Myles in March/April next year, and are trying to find the perfect location!

A very dear friend is conducting the ceremony, and it will be very spirtural and family orientated!

It will be the ceremony then maybe a BBQ or picnic type thing, so are looking to have it somewhere near the water if possible! Or something with a nice veiw like a park or garden!

Does anyone have any ideas on a beautiful place which will have shade and a decent area for lots of people( we have a very large family)

Gold coast hinterland - there's a crystal cave shop out the back of Tallebugera (ap?) but just near it is an amazing park which is surrounded by a creek.

We were married at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge last year in March. It was a morning ceremony and it wasn't cold. The view was spectacular. How ever, if you want near the water, we just had Jensen's baptism at Coolangatta and had a BBQ breakfast on the beach. I don't know where you could hold the naming ceremony there, but its not too busy, so maybe a park there? Up on Greenmount Hill overlooking Coolangatta, near Pt Danger or where the borders meet?
