Everyone loves buying the teeny little baby clothes and you'll get heaps, but it can be so handy to have a few of the next size or cooler/warmer stuff on hand as necessary for sudden weather changes or "oh crap nothing fits" moments

Looking back, I wish I'd thought to ask for some baby carriers for my shower. My aunties wanted to spoil me silly but I couldn't think of anything and ended up with a bunch of blankets and a baby monitor I hardly use. Neither are really needed since I bedshare :-/ And carriers are damn expensive if you don't know what kind suit you - if they're gifts you can pop them on eBay or whatever and spend the money on something that does suit you
