    We have been to a lot of baptisms and I tend to find that if it is in a church most men wear pants of some sort, very rarely will we see anyone wear jeans.

    We went to one recently. DF wore jeans and he wasnt the only one to do so. Only the parents and god parents were dressed up.

    For DD1 Baptism DH and i dressed up....but was to dressed up...so DD2 we went alot more causal and jeans were the way to go!

    most of the church (other then the elderly) wore really casual clothes too

    Jeans should be fine but I would ask him to wear a nice shirt to dress it up a little.
