    Question Christening card message

My niece is being christened, and she is nearly 8 years old. I am trying to write a message in her card, and I am not religious. Most cards I have seen are for a baby. I do not mind writing a religious message, as she is the one being christened as a Catholic.

    Any suggestions?

    You could just write

"Dear xxxx, Congratulations on your Christening Day. "
    * May your future be filled with xxxx

    Gosh i dunno

    I would write something like
"Cogratulations on your christening day. May this be the beginning of your relationship with God and may god bless you today and always."

Just a little something - it is actually called Baptism - but baptism cards are a bit harder to find - make that little effort for her and have a look in a few more newsagencies if you have to.

May her faith give her peace throughout her life - something like that???

I know the sacrament is called baptism, first of seven life sacraments. But to most people, it is Christening, and cards say Christening in stores. I have yet to find a card that actually says baptism.

    Thanks for the ideas.

    I think I'll write:

    Dear XXXXX,
    Congratulations and many
    blessings on your Christening
    With love from XXXXXX

There are cards that say baptism as I have bought them. Depends on how important it is to the family I suppose on what you call it?!

The invitation card said Christening, and they all call it a Christening. Thanks for your help.
