Its my DH's first Fathers Day & I'm going to buy him a tree. A Japanese Maple. I thought its a present he will always have(he's a green thumb),it will come to hold sentimental value. He'll be able to say 'this tree was only so big when you were ## months old' iykwim.
DH is getting a wallet, a set of nice glasses to have his jacks Daniels in and a stubby holder with pics of the kids on it
Step dad is getting stubby holder as above, chocolate and a book
Dad getting choc and stubby holder
Grandfather DVD with multiple docos about different battles
In the past we have done ugg boots, massage voucher, cheese making kit (step dad), sunnies, jocks and socks (dh request) photo gift cards from bunnings
DH got a coffee machine for birthday/fathers day/wedding anniversary (within 3 days of each other), but the boys both bought him a book about Dad's that he can read with them.
My Dad got a shirt and a book about Grandpa's, DH's Dad got a bunnings photo gift card and a book about Granddad's.
DF has just asked for me to cook a nice dinner and make pavlova. Thinking he should also get the obligatory socks and undies as well I am thinking of getting him something cooking related though as he loves to cook.
Yeah I have been thinking about making a nice dinner but not sure when is be able to coz he's meant to be flying away for work and it may well be ON fathers day! I also made the mistake of buying jocks he needed and giving to him on Sat... Maybe I should say they were an early FD pressie lol cheap skate much
