For the latest one, Mass was Sunday at 5 pm so I served a hot meal!! a beef burgundy stew which I had made the day before, potatoes which dh made as soon as we came home while everyone was having nibblies. Nibbly tray made up in the afternoon before we left. I liked that it was in the evening because we had all day to get ready.
