First wedding anniversery gift paper?

Hi everyone

I would like some ideas as to what I could get my husband for our firfst wedding anniversary in just under a month, I am totally at a loss as to what I can get him!
I'd like to keep with the traditional theme of paper.

I'm not much help, I think my DH got me some trims for my car!!!
BUT
I think my mum got my dad this nice leather portfolio thingy with a notepad etc in it. Don't know if that's what you're after

Tickets!
Movie tickets, concert tickets, plane tickets etc.
DH and I went to see Pearl Jam for our 1st anniversary and it was brilliant

Tickets to a show!!!! We went and saw Cirque de soliei for our 1st wedding anniversary!!

Another option is a gift voucher to do something fun eg drive a v8 supercar, aerobatic flight, swim with sharks or dolphins etc SOOOOOOOOOOO MANY CHOICES!!

For our first wedding anniversary DH got me tickets to go to the V8 races (yeah I am a rev head) and I bought him some NFL cards from the US (he is a big fan). I also got him a leather bound notepad folder

I know someone that got her husband a " Playboy " magazine of the same month & year of their Wedding

... She got it on eBay ... just type 'Playboy & the month & year' & hopefully one will come up for sale there

umm at harvey norman they do canvas prints fairly cheap so maybe if u have a nice photo of him and your son u could get it blown up onto a canvas????

My DH wrote a poem for me & printed it out on pretty paper & framed it for me. I thought it was a great idea for "paper", very romantic & can be put on the wall & kept forever.

He dated it too which made it stand out as a special poem rather than just something printed up & put on the wall.

*Note to self... must find that poem LOL (was packed up with alot of other frames when moving house & haven't got around to re-hanging them)
