has anyone got married in the hunter valley
i need to find a nice place for a reception and something that doesnt cost an arm and a leg

Hey Jesabell, I got married at Pokolbin two years ago... We just hired a hall (it was about $500 to hire the hall and we had it from fri to sun..) Then we got a caterer to come and do the food. The caterer was from Maitland. I think the food ended up being about $30 per person.
We looked around at the proper function centres but they were mostly way out of our price range.

We got married at king edward park and had our reception at Phoenix sports club(in mayfield) wasn't too expensive but you do need to have at least 50 guests.

I went to a wedding at Wandin Valley Estate about 18 months ago and it was really lovely. I don't know how much it cost but they were married outside in the garden and then had the reception inside and it was beautiful.
