This is a slight follow on from other music threads. This is the order of songs I have picked out but would appreciate others thoughts/opinions/suggestions on the order or appropriateness of where i have put them in the order of things.

I walked the isle to I'm yours - Jason Mraz. My DH & I have been saying that to each other for years! LOL!

How long is your isle that you get two songs?? I think I got two lines from I'm Yours before I was at the front! Good songs, though. You'll also need 2 or 3 'leaving' songs for the end of the reception. "Time of your life" by Green Day is a very popular choice. I also had Missy Higgins "Going North" as well.

I walked down the aisle to "Under your Spell" from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode "Once more with feeling".

we played "never tear us apart" (INXS) for the signing of the register and a few other rock songs of that era.

Sounds lovely. I'm a Joshua Kadison fan from way back! Here are some thoughts...

Make sure you know exactly at what point each of you starts walking down the aisle, because otherwise you might have to wait for the first song to finish before you can start walking. In case you are printing it on programs or something, it's Canon in D by Pachelbel.

3 songs for signing of certificates seems long - we only needed 1. Is You Raise Me Up going to be your recessional? If you are finished way early is there a way you can signal to your sound person to skip 1 or 2? Or are you happy to sit there and listen while everyone has a little chat and comes and takes your photo?
