Yep I would go option 1, sounds like excellent value to me! And if you know his work it will be all good I am sure.
Again, I seriously think it was the best money we spent on the whole wedding, I am so so happy I didn't listen to all the people telling me to not bother and just have a couple of friends with cameras on photo duty. (Made that mistake of not having a DJ or anything and ended up with no wedding dance, and nobody dancing, because there was basically no music...sucked! lol)
