    ash, i've already replied but i'm so flabberghasted by her cost. lol if she says "yes 3500" can you please ask what you get for that price lol. I'm hoping she provides horses and does some horseback dancing while reading the vows to you!

    we had our minister, so it's probably different - but we paid a $50 gratuity and he paid for the filing fees ... that was 9 years ago, but I don't think much has changed.

    for civil celebrants, I've never heard of one costing more than $550.
