I've learnt - But am looking for a bit of advice

Having a HUGE massive wedding isn't the be all and end all.

2011 was our year to plan our wedding anyways

We're officially engaged now .... and I've been thinking, maybe we should just have a small ceremony and go for dinner with the parents & siblings.

With me being pregnant now, I'm wondering if we should marry in the beginning of the year that way it is out of the way and we dont need to worry about it (Decision NOT influenced by my IL's at all)

Honestly - Would you do it? or would you wait until bubs is born?

If it were me, I would want to get married before the baby comes. I just don't think I could predict well enough what could happen to want to do it afterwards - how I would feel, how I would be managing motherhood with 2 children plus putting the finishing touches to a wedding. Not to mention if I wasn't feeling terribly body-confident kwim?

    And congratulations on the engagement!

I got married at 17 weeks pregnant, though I had a little belly , you can barely tell in the pics, not that I care

we wanted to be a family before bub came, we were planming a sept wedding , but moved it to June after we found out as I would have been 7 months pregnant, and unable to fly ( we married in Bali)

Im getting married in February (I will be 8 months pregnant) and doing a wedding on a tiny budget. Were just doing the ceremony and reception will be at a restaurant with everyone paying for themselves instead of a gift.

We were half way through planning ours when we found out I was pregnant. We decided to postpone ours untill after bubs is born. I dont want to be pregnant and stressed about my wedding. And its not such a bad thing to have your little one at your wedding, a few of our friends did this.

My thoughts exactly. I think it would be much easier to wed before hand.

I think we will just have a ceremony then a restaurant for dinner.
