Kids parties

We had Buster's first birthday party at home in the backyard, Moo had all his friends there too so lots of 3 year olds. We hired a jumping castle and kept our trampoline and toddler climbing thing out. The sand pit was dismantled (no biggie as we were getting the boys a bigger one built afterwards), sand pit toys put away, as well as all the scooters and trike type things.

I know what my Moo is like and so wanted to keep him happy and calm so he could enjoy the party too.

ETA - another thing I did was get out our gazebo thing and laid a picnic rug underneath with a tea set, was a huge hit!

We did the 1st bday at home and I did picnic rugs with toys underneath gor the 1 year olds and babies. We didn't have too many older kids but I would def get a jumping castle or something like that for 2-4 yr olds.

If you have any kids older than 8, or teenagers, ask them if they would like to face paint or paint finger/toenails. Little kids love that stuff.
