That sounds like a great price. We got married in March, in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Our total wedding price was under $5000 ! We had a family friend do our photography (the proverbial fan was hit 3 days before the wedding and the other family friend photographer pulled out and still ended up coming and taking photos). I'd never met the man before and told his passion is photography. Everytime I look at my sisters wedding photos, which were taken by my DH, I get upset coz mine are nowhere near as good as hers. Mine are blurry or "soft focus" or the ones that are in focus are not of my and my dh. (why is there no little crying face?) If I can tell you, and anyone else getting married, HAVE A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER! You say you've seen his photos, and you think its a good price, go for it. I would have paid that, or even up to 2500 or 3000 to remember my perfect day.
