definatley a girly party at home, maybe in the yard if possible, and do a decorate-it-yourself session for the cupcakes, or even plain biscuits (maries or morning coffees, or whatever!)

you could have some different coloured icings, and then bowls of dessicated coconut and jelly beans and berries etc, so all the guests can put together two or three bikkies, then they can be left to dry for a while, while a few games are played, prezzies are opened, and then all the guests can eat their bikkies

if you need to pace it out a little more, you could pass out paper plates, and they can all decorate their plates with pencils first?

Oh, I had another idea - why not do a geisha-style tea-party? All wearing kimonos and then they could do some singing and dancing as well?
