Two godmothers - thoughts?

I don't see a problem with two god mothers. Olivia has two godmothers and a godfather. If I was in your place I wouldn't ask your sis boyfriend either because of the exact reason you mentioned of them not being engaged or any long term commitment. It is so difficult, isn't it. Just trust your judgement and go with who you think is the best option for your daughter.

Our family tradition is to have two godparents of the same gender and one of the opposite gender. It works for us.
