Congrats on your upcoming wedding. Like Kim I wore my veil for the ceremony and photo's and took it off for the reception. I wore one because it suited the dress and style of my wedding and there is never another occasion where you get to wear one ever! It made me feel like a bride. I didn't wear it for any traditional reasons.

I'd suggest you try a few on just to see what it looks like. If you have a very slimline/fitted dress a veil to the floor works really well, focuses the eye on the dress and sort of 'frames' it. A shorter fingertip veil looks great with a dress that has lots of volume in the skirt (especially if the dress is strapless).

So many options though, and I'm sure you'll look perfect whatever you decide.
