If they are doing renos I think Bunnings vouchers would be a great idea.
DH and I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and we dont really know them that well to know what to get them. DH used to work with the groom and stayed in touch but we never had a lot to do with them socially so it's really hard to know what to get them as a gift. They have been together for quite a while and have 3 boys already so I assume that they wouldn't need a lot of stuff for the house. They have been doing some renos to their house too. Would you try to get them a gift or just give them a voucher? HELP!![]()
If they are doing renos I think Bunnings vouchers would be a great idea.
That's a tough one given they haven't specified what they would like, usually 'established' couples have wishing wells etc...
A friend of mine asked for Harvey Norman vouchers so they could get a new flat screen tv....
Given the renos I was thinking a Bunnings voucher.
Best of Luck![]()
There isn't a local Bunnings where they live, but there are other hardware places so a voucher from there is always an option.
No Bunnings!
Wow! There are two on the same road near me, just a few km's from each other.
We bought a couple a set of uncirculated coins in the year they married from the post office. They were totally wrapped with it. It came in a white box and everything and was approx $60.
You could always get his and her hammers![]()
Love the his and hers hammers ideas... or a nice new pink drill for her and a man-sized one for him LOL!
LOL CharlieBrown, we're talking rural but rest assured there this one in the towns either side of this town where they live.
Maz, that's not a bad idea - We had a friend who always gave us one of those for the kids when they were born and we loved them.
I think vouchers are always a great idea! I know I'd prefer a voucher rather than something I might never use or may not be suited to my and DP's taste.
Photo frames? For those wedding pics![]()
I usually just put cash in a card for all wedding gifts, I hate the thought of buying something that will be thrown away, or never used.
