Didn't have any wedding songs first time around - was a bit alternative

DP and I could never get married because we would never agree on a song. On my list would be:

Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder
The Best Is Yet To Come by Tony Bennett and Diana Krall and
Into My Arms by Nick Cave (which would lead DP to instantly divorce me)

I would have to rugby tackle DP to the ground to stop him playing

Throw Your Arms Around Me by Hunters & Collectors/Mark Seymour

    and some days

You S*** Me To Tears by The Tenants

The one we danced to was Lonestar's - Amazed. It happened to be in the top 40 at the time.

I walked down the aisle, and we signed the register to "Lullaby" by The Dixie Chicks. I tear up each time I hear it!

We had our "official" first dance to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole, but the one that sticks out was Dance With You by Live that I dedicated to DH later in the night.

I liked your song PZ...I agree with the others - it's your wedding and about what you two love.

    We had two as well
Angels brought me here - Guy Sebastian...was cheesy and very top 40 but it said how we felt
Could I have this dance - Anne Murray...my mum has sung that to my dad since I was a little girl. I always knew it would feature at my wedding.

Not sure what our song is actually called but im pretty sure its " beautiful in my eyes" and as we walked down the aisle after the ceremony we played the song from the wedding singer, the last one when adam sanlder sings on the plane to drew barrymore.

I'm listening to it as I type. Do you know I would rather hear a song like this which is obviously unique and special to the couple than a more commercial "wedding type" song. I think it sounds cute and if I was a guest I would be smiling at how unique it is.

Our songs were "only time" by Enya and "Everlasting Love" by U2 as we are massive U2 fans

We had a laid back wedding so no first dance but I walked in to Gorecki by Lamb and this also played while we signed the registry papers. I had always loved the song and DH was sold first time he heard it.

Well my songs didnt work so they just dodged it with music they had in the church. I dont even remember any of the music I was crying too much

    These were our two choices.

YouTube - Anyone else but you cover (JUNO soundtrack)

YouTube - if my heart was a house-owl city music video w/ lyrics

    Ignore the dodgy youtube videos
