What was the single MOST memorable moment of your wedding.

1. We got married outside at night, DH and his best man and my matron of honours husband were there early to set up, all i expected was the place to be mowed and our solar out door lights to be out, but when i got there they had put hundreds of tea lights out and around the place, it looked amazing and i was in so much shock and awe at how much work they put into it. it was beautiful.

2. When i had walked down the aisle and my dad was about to give me away, he couldnt because DH kept turning his head away, was cause he was crying and didnt want anyone to see!!

3. Everyone commented (and still do) about how our reception was the most fun they had had in ages, and if that day represented the rest of our lives, we would be one very happy couple.

Worst moment - Spending my wedding night sitting in the dark on my own in my bridal gown with a bottle of champagne by the hotel pool listening to the wave roll into the beach near by because he had spat it over something

my DH had a spat at something too on the night of our reception, I ended up going out with all my mates while he went home alone. I still dont know what was wrong as he refuses to tell me.

Good memory : The celebrant carrying our son up to my DH to hold. The celebrant's wife drinking my ****tail while we were getting photos. The fun the night before with my family as we set up the room with lollies (liquorice allsorts) as favours.
My godfather telling me later that of all the weddings he's gone to, mine taught him the most (we had a handfasting ceremony and the celebrant explained all the traditions and how they fit into Aussie & Scottish culture)

Best memory : The way the rose bought for me in memory of my uncle bloomed that day, and we placed the bud at my aunt's place.

Bad memory : telling my (only) bridesmaid's housemate to get out of his dad's car and ask someone else for directions cause I was due to get married in 15 mins and neither I nor my bridesmaid were dressed.
