Ah, this brings back memories! DH and I were married in a catholic cathedral ('06), so our music had to be "in line" with church protocol. Having said that, we hired a fab brass quintet which sounded absolutely fantastic ...

Walking down the aisle - Pachelbel's Canon in D (... a popular choice, it seems!)
Signing marriage certificate - Ave Maria
Recessional - Water Music Suite (Handel) - I adore this piece of music!
Bridal Waltz - How Do I Live, Trisha Yearwood

Can't remember most of the songs we picked for our reception other than "At Last" which immediately followed the bridal waltz and "The Way You Look Tonight". We had "Good Riddance: Time of Your Life" by Green Day as we farewelled everyone at the end of our reception. We kinda hoped not too many people knew the correct title cos we didn't pick the song to be cheeky!

I was a bit obsessed about the music at our reception, cos I'd been to a wedding not long before ours and the reception music was dreadful - the music choices were left up the DJ and he killed the dance floor time and time again with one decent song (which got everyone up), then a shocker (from heavy metal to tacky early 90s "dance" music that died a quick death a decade ago!). I made sure we chose a DJ who would play OUR choices ... and I'm proud to say lots of people got up and danced the night away at our reception!!

Have fun - it's an exciting time

This is so fun! So exciting for you, I adored my Wedding.

We walked down the isle to pachebels canon (the done thing)

Register was signed to a friend singing "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison

And the waltz was started with "Sunshine of my Life" by Stevie Wonder then there was a big scratch sound and we did a fully choregraphed dance to "Hey Ya" by Outcast ending with a Dirty Dancing style lift. We are both big showoffs!

Have the best time, the best advice I got was take a little minute alone with your husband during the reception, that's the part I remember the most.

Aw, this is lovely. we had..

Walking down the aisle- Bittersweet symphony (instrumental version). I actually pinched that idea off another BB member in a thread like this one, but i can't remember who it was now. tinks, maybe it was you?

Signing the registry- the rivers runs by yakamo (from the twilight movie- beautiful piece of music)

After the cermony- Mystify by INXS

Walking into the reception- Dream Catch Me by newton faulkner

Wedding dance- Mandy Moore's version of Rhianna's umbrella (youtube it, it's gorgeous). Another idea froma Bb member (Niadla, if I remember correctly?).

On a sidenote, my car got broken into a few weeks ago, and they stole my wedding cd. I can make another one, but it's not the same. devastated

Signing the Certificate: The Rose: Bette Midler

We then had a few songs playing for background music whilst people mingled.
    They were Amazed Lonestar

Come away with Me : Norah Jones

Being presented at the reception we came into Angels by Robbie Williams
