Walked up the aisle to Pacabel's Canon. Still adore that piece of music. Walked out with DH with Truly, Madly, Deeply. Our first dance was to K-Ci and JoJo's All My Life.
I walked down the aisle to Switchfoot's "Only Hope" - originally saw it in a movie called "A Walk To Remember", Mandy Moore was singing it, its just lovely. If you know it, I entered at the big "I give you my destiny, I'm giving you all of me, I want your symphony..."
So we were married almost five years ago and I have never watched my wedding DVD as it would never play in our players. Well, this thread got me thinking, so I dug it out and it worked on my laptop.
My songs were:
Feather Song from Forest Gump when we arrived
Spend a Lifetime Jamiroqui when we walked down the aisle
I just watched the entire DVD an forgot how unconventional our wedding was and I also didn't realise that everyone else seemed to have as much fun as we did.
Pachabels Canon in D for the aisle - my Dad was/is a huge classical music fan so this had been a favourite of mine well before I realised that it was so popular for weddings!
Aerosmith - Don't want to miss a thing as our wedding song.
I walked down the aisle to RONAN KEATING- Promise beautiful song
Our wedding song was KIETH URBANS- Making memories..
And walked up the aisle together to DJ sammy's candlight version of HEAVEN..
Walked down the aisle to an acoustic guitar version of The Beatles' Here Comes The Sun and our bridal waltz was to Bob Dylan's If Not For You except something went wrong with the song and it was slowed down so he sounded like he was, funnily enough, on a really bad trip. It went for aggggggeeeesss and the dj didn't think to stop and change song. Everyone laughed and danced anyway. It will remain a very funny memory of our wedding day.
I walked down the aisle (or garden path as it was) to Romeo and Juliett - Dire Straits. Just a significant fave of ours.
Our bridal waltz was to Room At The Top Of The World - Tom Petty.
