I go t a quick reply back that says

there are different ways to become a School Learning Support Officer - note fancier name- all of them not too difficult or I wouldn't be here! There is a TAFE course, not compulsory but preferred by some schools.

She also says that she will talk to me more about it tomorrow so I will fill you in then, x
