bussiness advice

im in the process of setting up my own bussiness. is there anyone on here that can answer a couple if questions. casual unoffical and the like. just to check im on the right track?

What type of questions? PM me the list if you like, I should be able to help out. I have my own small business I have recently started and have helped family members it over the years to set theirs up. I'm happy to help out as the questions pop up.

mainly is an abn all i need? i think i will just get the abn in my name cause i havent got a funky bussiness name yet.
is there anything i forgot? i really have no idea what im doing =p i guess just if there is someone who doesnt mind answering my random (possibly silly) questions when they pop up
