I got the arrangements I wanted but not the role. I was hoping to go back to the role that I'd performed before going on mat leave the first time. Technically I had no entitlement to it but I was the best person for the job. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. I had to fight to keep my pay level the same due for a range of reasons but it all worked out in the end.
