    help! do I ring back?

I applied for a job online yesterday, and his afternoon I get a missed call and message on my mobile, about the job. I call back, but get an answering machine, and leave a message.

Do I wait for them to ring me back, or should I try again? I'm worried if I call back it'll make me look a bit desperate, rather than just interested??

    HELP!

I would call back - some might call it desperate - but I would call it being keen

I would call back too. I don't think it would be considered desperate at all.

    ****!
Thanks guys - I double checked the number to ring again, and I'd transposed two of the digits the first time, so hand't left a message with the right person at all!!!

So naturally I've rung back. She thinks I am out of their price range but is really impressed with my expereince and is going to send my CV through and ask about salary negotiation. I'm prepared to drop my salary for the right job (well not too much but it is negotiable) I hope they come back with something positive!

its with a small Australian company, so a big change from working for a multinational. I will start in early November and have about a week off between finishing my current job and starting the new one.
My BB time will be significantly reduced as I won't be able to sit at work all day online anymore, which is both sad but good, means I'll have something interesting, work-wise, to do!
