Hey Lulu, if you like I could email you a few samples of application letters that I've used with great success (mainly for admin roles). I used to work as a recruiting consultant and have a great deal of experience in writing applications if you'd like some help.

I thought I'd give you an update...

I DID get shortlisted for the job! They had about 3 million applicants and it has taken them until yesterday to get back to me for the phone interview.
WOO HOO!

I have also been shortlisted for another job in a completely different field and I am very excited about that too, will let you know how it turns out.

*steps up to podium* I'd just like to especially thank my gurus Jodie and MrsR for giving my so much help and excellent advice....I was beginning to think I smelled!
