They told me I would hear "early next week" about the job. It is now after 5pm on Monday and I haven't heard. I know they were only interviewing Thursday/Friday last week.
Is the fact I haven't heard back
a) a good thing, they are letting the unsuccessful applicants know first
b) a good thing, they haven't written me off and are still deciding
c) a bad thing, my unsuccessful letter is in the post and they are only calling the successful applicants
d) nothing at all, I am overthinking this and Tuesday is still early in the week. They might not have made up their mind yet

thanks H, I am not patient in situations like this! Worse case scenario I don't get the job and I can offer to volunteer with them instead so I don't know why I'm worried.
I think you should be fine, if they interviewed late last week they would have sat down and discussed all the applicants at some point today, may not have been until this afternoon..... who knows?
I would say Tuesday is still early next week and if they said they would call, they may well do with a decision either way!
Fingers crossed you get the answer you want tomorrow (if not I would say wed may also just squeeze into the early part of the week )
In my experience it could take until Wednesday or Thursday for them to get back to you- just the way it is sometimes, esp if they need to discuss several applicants before deciding.
